The Rise of the West

For a long time, the majority of power in the eRepublik world has been centered around Europe and the USA, thats where the wars were fought and the money was. However, now is the beginning of the age of the southwestern world. Nations like Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Mexico have been growing richer, more powerful, and larger. All these nations (except surprisingly the most powerful one, Brazil) have larger treasuries and more land. Their militaries are better equipped and are ranked much higher.
Brazil has gone from an eastern, South American nation, to an ever expanding, superpower. Their tendrils have consumed the majority of South America, and stretched into almost all of South Africa. Mexico has also been growing quickly, taking over the North of South America by invading Colombia and Venezuela. Their economy is growing and they have become very powerful, and rival the USA. Chile has moved most of their government to their territories in occupied Australia. They are fighting the USA right now. The greatest powers in Chile and Argentina, is their tremendous wealth. Both nations have rapidly growing economies and stocked up treasuries.
Now while the eUK does have allies in the region, such as Mexico and Chile, we are still slightly threatened by the growth of the South East. As a nation on the edge of Europe, our economy is endangered by the influx of goods made in South America. No European nation produces as much as Brazil does. And that (despite their relatively low treasury) gives them more and more power and influence every day. However, in my opinion, Brazil is not using their influence to the best of their abilities as a world superpower and a regional leader.

Voted, an interesting read, Freebairn
Well brazil has been a superpower for years and it used to be much more powerful in the past. Shift to the west can merely be assumed because of the rise of chile and argentina and the power the US showed for some time. Now they're however troubled with internal problems and chile doesn't look too good against argentina. also I'm not sure about the economical thesis.
Well, thank you for the opinion. I believe that the smaller nations of South America are being absorbed into the more powerful ones, and that causes significant political and military growth in these nations. The power of South America has been spreading more and more out of their continent.
