The Political Scene

Day 2,436, 06:51 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Gigazic

I'll admit I was very, very confused when I first arrived here in the eUK. The political scene was somewhat of a mystery for me, and reading articles slandering the opposition wasn't exactly helping me make up my mind.

So, have I come to a conclusion?

Well, that's a good question. First of all, let's make a few things clear:

1) It doesn't take a genius to work out that stealing the treasury is certainly not a good thing.

2) Whilst I have joined The Unity Party, a party like many others opposed to the shenanigans of BigAnt etc etc, the party its self hasn't been 'brainwashing' me; I was perfectly able to make up my own mind (i.e, I haven't really been influenced negatively by TUP on this particular subject).

So...

As far as I'm aware, I'm more or less clued up on the current events here in the eUK, but what can I conclude from these recent events?

The eUK is undoubtedly, unluss I'm horribly mistaken, in a rather fragile state at the minute. We're still battling foreign citizens attempting to regain a hold in Parliament and ultimately influence our future for the worse.

Of course, in three days we have the Parliamentary elections coming up. As some of you may know, some of us are swapping parties for the time being, a rather clever tactic to make sure 'a certain party' can't participate in the elections.

I'm running for Parliament and I hope that for me this will provide useful experience. I'm sure that other parties, as well as TUP, will be running young players such as myself. After all, we'll be left to run the country at some point in the future.

Cheers. 😉
