The Coming of the Irish Revolution

This is an important announcement for the people of Ireland; its rulers pay closer attention.
There's a spectre haunting eIreland - the spectre of Banism. Banism is an ideology rooted in the social progression of e-nations, as its founder MikeBane detailed in his philosophy, the ideology recognizes that the transformative power in eRepublik stems from individual within the social context of the community. In order to strengthen our community we need to reach out to the individual and engage the individual, by doing so we encourage the individual to engage the community.
The right-wing of eIreland has been thoroughly disempowered throughout the epicenters of government. The longest left-wing party in eIreland, the Independent Labour Party, has maintained its kingholder position within eIrish politics. No doubt this Party does hold some radical players, unfortunately as a Party it has been institutionalized and no longer a radical party. What alternatives have they sought to offer in recent history? How have they, since seizing influence and State power from the bourgeois Kunts, sought to develop our nation ideologically? How have they equipped the eIrish people to politically arm themselves with the tools for e-revolution?
The purely reformist nature of the ILP is what has killed its revolutionary fervor over the years. What happened to non-State solutions? What happened to hosting community events, pages, and shared activities which enriched our eIrish community? The ILP is a "broad" left-wing party, much like the real life ILP in Scotland's Red Clydeside history, whose downfall will ultimately be due to the fact they have not developed a coherent singular ideology. There is no ideological foundation in which to hold other members accountable for their actions, policies, or effectively mobilizing party members. Players invest more time when they know what exactly they are fighting for.
The Revolutionary Banist Party has a solid ideological framework in which we have specific goals in mind and details on how we are going to achieve them. Our goals are not given with hopes of winning congress seats or the presidency, we only participate in CP elections to gauge other parties and candidates, our goals are sought for the good of the whole community - by suggesting a radical transformation of how we play the game and how we strengthen our community.
One of our main goals so far is the establishment of the Dublin Commune. The first call met with little success; it is clear the masses do not possess the level of consciousness necessary for the formation of a radical counter-institution to combat the State's power. Many are still under false consciousness, believing that purpose and value is derived by State-driven initiatives rather than by the players themselves. The full details on the Commune can be read HERE.
Banism is a new force in politics, one that will reshape the New World political arena. You can become a Banist too! Click on the link to join The Revolutionary Banist Party! Join the e-REVOLUTION!

Leftism in eRepublik is absurd.
my vote
Is it you in the last pic? 😃
cat boyd is actually a male 🙂 known here as Mike Bane
=|
The Government refuse to admit it as they get support from him/her.
I'm actually a woman and I have explained this a few times previously. An ILP'er who finds the ideology of Banism appealing and sees its potential. And no, GoNinja, that isn't me. 🙂
Wow.... I feel like that could have been taken directly from a 1930's soviet communique.
Bringing a failed ideology that in Real life has been consigned as Lenin would say to "the dustbin of history" to a game built on basic capitalist and democratic principles is laughable.
But good luck to you and your fellow Cheka's.
If only Bane was still here, I could submit all my time and resources to his revolution.
If Bane was here I would follow him onward to full Irish victory of the Lithuanians and see the full radical transformation of eIrish society. Until/if he returns I am doing my best to fulfill his position and bring about the Banist Revolution till his return. Nonetheless he left his ideology, clearly explained within his vast works, of how to transform eIrish society. As a serious student of Banism I have faith that my interpretation of his works are orthodox yet flexible to be applied to the changes Plato brings.
this is starting to sound more like a creepy religion than a progressive philosophy :/
It is strictly a philosophy; though I see the religious element in "waiting for His return' haha it is nothing of the sort and we do not expect his return - I do not have faith in 'his return'. 😛
What I have noticed is no one has critiqued the actual ideology and have proceeded to attacked its founder or irrelevantly bring up RL politics. Please keep discussion relevant to the game. 🙂
It's unfair for you to expect ppl to reform their outdated beliefs so quickly.
Please remember that many are still under false consciousness, believing that purpose and value is derived by State-driven initiatives rather than by the players themselves. Real progress requires time.
