Support a Platoon Work Rotations Strengthen eCanada
Canadian National Defense
Starting this week, members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Reserves and Regulars began working for the CAF’s Support a Platoon Program (SPP) charities under the direction of CAF General Coda.
The initiative will ensure greater stability for eCanada’s military by allowing the CAF greater financial flexibility when funding from the Government is not consistent, thus ensuring that the CAF is always prepared to defend of advance Canada’s military goals.
Under the current SPP initiative, members of each branch of the CAF Regular and Reserves (ie. Tank Force, Air Force, Infantry Force, Artillery Force) rotate work shifts each week, thus each branch will work for one week a month (1 in 4 weeks). In exchange for this work, the CAF will be increasing the supplies it provides to each member of the CAF and in addition pay for a daily 50% training booster for each member of the Regulars and Reserves (0.19 Gold a day).
As Regular and Reserve members receive the training booster each and every day they request it, irregardless of if it is their week to work in an SPP company, the net benefit/pay to the individual member of the Regulars and Reserves is four days pay for every one day worked or 0.76 gold per day of work (about $53 CAD), which far exceeds any posted wage on the job market today.
The initiative also greatly benefits the younger members of the Regular and Reserves who benefit equally form the profits generated by their far better skilled older brethren, helping the younger members to advance rapidly in game.
The training gold that soldiers get ensures the rapid growth in the overall strength of eCanada’s military; the compensation that soldiers receive from profits generated by SPP companies ensure that members are generously compensated for work; and the overall profits that the SPP earns from the sale of good produced by CAF members ensures the financial stability of the CAF. The SPP work rotation is a win win for all involved, the individual CAF soldier, the CAF and eCanada.

hail and PLUR
Seems reasonable.
Newbs, don't be afraid to sign up. This newb here's been having a pretty good time since he joined the CAF. Come on in, you also will 😉
This money also is used to strengthen Coda, personally...or at least pay for her weapons...

Minor correction rolo, it is used to strenghten the CAF as a whole, not a particular individual.
Very good initiative!
Meh. TCO is better, try harder next time. Rolo's right.
CAF doesn't roll TCO articles I'd appreciate it if you left that crap out of here. Unless of course you want the old days of each side at each other throats.
Keep it up. I'd be happy to oblige you being now on the other side of the fence.
k...?
Rylde, Exhibit A: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/francois-l-pignon-exposed--1671940/1/20 , Comment #6, para 1
True 'tho, this place lacks some Crimson. Almost anaemic : P
Sounds like a good step by the CAF. That's an impressive wage to pay out.
dhruvs, if you would be so kind as to look at para 2, he says: Good stuff, frenchie' implying that he is joking about the 1st paragraph.
Good Day.
You don't know me or my past dhruvs. I led TCO for 6 months and made them stable. The comment was sarcasm. Know your TCO history.
Rylde, some people commented that you robbed stuff from TCO when you quit.
Any truth to that?
^ lol so much like a RL reporter. TMZ?
Yosh!
Almost time for the Tanks to show their might in the slave pits!
lol the things your hear. No I did not rob TCO in anyway.

Training gold!, how does one re-enter the mighty, glorious entity that is Canada's army?
This is a good initiative done to help the national army and the eCanadian gov to be stronger.
Be proud, be CAF!
Je suis en désaccord avec la chose. Ça va perturber les opérations des employeurs non CAF (vagues de départs à chaque semaine).
Méchant power trip de la part des CAF. On est en train de virer pas mal socialistes je trouve...
socialism isn't evil SpockPQ 😛 However, a one week rotation a month isn't the hindrance you make it out to be. I say this as an employee, an employer and someone currently on the Infantry rotation.
@ Tamas Dzsudsak: JOIN THE CAF TODAY!
@Plugson, that's just a TCO myth. They like to accuse their former commanders of theft on a regular basis.
God, Rolo is the biggest troll I have ever seen. Everywhere he goes he just write snide comments about anyone who's anyone in eCanada, tools should know their role.
😁😁^
❤ this guy

I'm proud to put my Guru** skills to work for the betterment of the CAF.
I would prefer to not be forced into a slave labour job. But by wanting to enjoy the commradery of a miltitary I only have the choice of; slave 7 of 28 (CAF) or slave every day (TCO). I'll stick with CAF.
COMPLETE GARBAGE WILL NOT BE PARTICIPATING....EVER!!!!
Don't be mislead by the 0.19 gold per day....CAF members were getting that before and allowed to work anywhere. Just because the government keeps losing its money doesn't mean that eCanada should become a communist state where you are FORCED to work for an SPP company. The reputation of the CAF is at an all time low. It is one scandal after another. Working for the SPP is simply working to pad the stats of coda and her other buddies in HC. Until the CAF falls in line and stops being the old boys and one grandman club it will continue to be a joke. This is just a case of the HC padding their pockets...the products that are produced are being sold on the market...not distributed to the CAF so a few people are getting rich. The companies are not government owned. This is a scam.
"tools should know their role"
Quoted for truth.
Why Petz, is it a scam when it's the CAF running slave pits, but not when TCO does so?
I'm with Crock on this one, I think I'll stick with the group where I only have to work slave wages for one week rather than every day.
Where did this come from??
Excellent idea! Voted!
it's a scam because certain caf HC people get thousands of cad while others get crap
@Petz: I wanted to post a response correcting the gross mis-information you are propagating in your post above.
1. The training gold has always been for those who work for SPP companies, I think your confusion on this matter is that many CAF members have been working for the SPP have been receiving training gold prior to this initiative, as the SPP is where the funding for the training gold comes from.
2. No funds generated by the SPP initiative go into the pockets of the High Command members. The funds generated by the initiative go directly into funds to ensure the continuation/expansion of the funding provided to CAF members. The assertion that it goes elsewhere is completely unfounded and is an attempt to distort the only actual argument that you have, which is a personal disagreement with the SPP initiative.
3. The SPP is selling products on the market for two reasons: it spurs economic activity and the funds generated are added to daily supplies (in the form of CAD) that individual members then in turn purchase the supplies that they wish to use for fighting.
For future reference: I am a member of High Command and am more than happy to respond to questions/concerns that you or any citizen may have to prevent the spread of this kind of mis-information.
I am more than happy to share that I get between 30-60 CAD a day (depending on the priority of battles) for supplies, the same as those with similar strength levels. And I started working, with my fellow soldiers in the Infantry branch, for SPP companies and as such I now get 0.19 training gold a day.
Lets keep the fear-mongering to a minimum.
Tamas Dszudzsak for DAL Leader.
@ Roger....all lies...I have never worked for an SPP comapny and yet I received the training gold before the government lost all of its funds
The spp companies are owned by individuals not the government..therefore they have control of them and can take all the money or gold they want....the public is aware of this
selling on the market is making them rich...perhaps try paying a fair markets wage instead of avoiding paying taxes....for a government run group, CAF members in spp companies are absolutely cheating the government of needed funds
Je suis d'accord avec Petz.
Les CAF n'ont pas à se substituer à l'entreprise privée. Personnellement, je me paye moi-même mon entrainement quotidien.
@Petz, you are out to lunch, show me any proof whatsoever man. I realise that you don't like it (fine), but throwing around unfounded and untrue accusations is f'ed up. As I have said the HC doesn't get any money from the SPP work detail other than the same supplies that all regulars and reserve members get.
Also, please refrain from accusing me of lying, especially when you are talking out of your ass.
I already worked for the SPP...
The funding does not come solely from the SPP, much of it is actually a gov subsidy into the SPP to cover the shortfall.
You can solve this if you look at it this way. A worker works for one day and basically makes 0.8g (Training for the month for one week of work), rotate enough people through at various skill levels and one soon realizes that the output outstrips the input.
Meaning that to claim that the training gold is a sole result of the SPP effort is a false claim. In fact i would argue that one should simply give over the subsidy without having to work in the SPP for a week.
The vast majority (In current market conditions anyone with an econ skill level of 2 and above) would do far better to simply receive the subsidy and work for market wages.
They could still get the 50% training every day and would have more spending power available to them.
roger you can claim it as false all you want but the only reason people go to the spp is because they have been told they will lsoe their funding.....make a public statement saying that members do not have to do the rotation...you'll be lucky if 50% of people work in an spp company...be up front and show us all the books...if not then the public will think what they want. It is the CAF nad its HC that have the bad reputation and who have been plagued by scandal
