I did an interview with Argrob, it was fantastic meeting him and a great experience. Today, I have something really interesting... He is the 2nd highest level in France ( considering Agrob is living in eFrance now )... more than 154k experience points... he´s one of the most important soldiers in eR... Do you know who I am talking about? HERE WE GO



I did 15 question that he answered really good and really fast.

1. How did you start to play eRepubik?

As most of the french player in eRepublik, I started to play this game because of an add made on a famous french video games website named “jeux-video.com”. Most of the eFrench Baby Boom are made because of this website. It was in january 2010, I remeber the news linking eRepublik, telling to the readers France needed us because of the Spanish and Polish invasion.

2. What society do you prefer ? Out-game or In-game?

Good question, in fact, I was discussing this yesterday with a good french friend “Leuch”, and we agreed on the point that both are very similar... One of the only good point and advantage that the In-game one has, is that we can travel in staying at home. Meeting people from different cultures and countries just in being in front of our PCs, but well... We can’t see the landscapes of the countries we are visiting at home, too bad... In being involved in the community, we can see that even behind a PC’s screen, some act really as if they were IRL and make the game bad instead correcting and fixing the IRL issues some have. This is disappointing.
As a French player, I have no problems with that in a direct way, and I don’t get involved in those issues because it isn’t my history anyway. But for example, everyone know that the Balkan is mostly directed by IRL feelings and some people, instead making choices wisely and objectively, make choices with feelings about IRL issues. Then, as IRL, all the little countries or others pay the bill.
But, as this is a game, we need some actions, we need a “Hero” and a “Nasty” otherwise the military module would be useless. All I wish is that people would play in a fair way and think about the consequences of their acts.

3. Did you spend real money in eRepublik ? How much did you spend ( more or less )?

I did, of course, telling the contrary would be lying after all the massive tanking I did those past few months. I won’t tell how much I spent, it’s personal, what I can say is that I spent too much for a game, and I’m now going to stop the massive tanking.

4. What rate would you give for the work Plato do for the game?

We all know that the game is not good, not bad at the same time... We all can admit that we wish it could be better and that admins are able to make it better... I have no clue about a grade for his work, because it is a daily work like maintaining servers and stuff... So I prefer to not give any rate. The community is the main reason why I’m still playing.

5. What do you think about bazookas hitting 15k per hits?

It’s an item eRepublik will soon need, especially the new players. With the last Q2 train ground, a big gap between new and old players is growing up day by day. And recently, we can observe some players now hitting more than 10k per hits, as we can’t donate Bazookas or sale them, they start to be useless for them.

6. Now users want Cuba to be implemented in the game... what do you think about it ?

I’ve never heard about it before. As usual, the question isn’t about the players themselves in overall, but about the Cuban players and people who would want their country to be implemented in eRepublik. But, to be honest, if it is, we all know how it’ll end up for eCuba... There will only be a few inhabitant and it’s gonna be an easy target for bonuses.

7. What is your favourite module ? What is the worst?

I don’t really have any favourite or most hated module... I just enjoy the military one and try to be as much close to the community as I can. I recently got involve in the economic one in buying a Q6 tanks company, it isn’t bad... Ha, and I think the Political module could be, and by far, much better.

8. What is for you "tank"?

As it was the main theme of one of my recent articles, I’m just gonna copy/paste my answer I wrote in it :
"Tanking is another way to play, when I invest in a battle I'll do whatever I can to bring the victory, sometimes it works, sometimes not.
When I go for a BH, it isn't really for the medal, I just place myself on the starter, that means I'm taking the responsibility of the battle, and I'll probably be ready to tank hard to win. I often do it for my friends and my country, also for Germany, Portugal, Croatia.
Tanking is very addictive, I warn everyone, stay away from it. But it brings nice sensations and fun I have to admit it.
My "tanking" is for my friends, nothing else.
Otherwise I wouldn't spend my money for a virtual map and some numbers on the screen."

I just want to add that even if a “Tanker” maybe made a difference in a battle, he wasn’t alone, if he was, the battle would be lost, strength through unity.

9. Is your eFamily important for you?

Yes it does, it is very important for me, they are some of the most kind, trustable, incredible and awesome people I met until here, even behind a screen they care about me, I shared a lot with them, about my IRL issues or their own. It’s always relieving to logg on and talk with them. I really love them, they are awesome !

10. How did you met your eLove ArisaChan?

This was at the beginning of January when Poland tried one more time to get into Germany. I was tanking hard in Bavaria, doing the “one man army” and then I received a PM by a citizen named “ArisaChan” telling me that my avatar (represnting a Polar Fox as usual) was nice.
From this, we started to talk and we met on IRC, after a lot of hours of talks time and fun, I decided to do a surprise for her. In one of our eWorld Tour ( http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-tour-around-the-world-eastern-asian-countries--1954722/1/20 ), I made my proposal, and what a lucky guy I am to be honest. It’s easy to see that I’m pretty devoted to her, I dedicate almost all my BH to her, mention her in my articles, profile...
And at day 1568 we got eMarried.

11. What are your 2 favourite eCountries?

I have more than two favourite eCountries.
Croatia, Portugal, Germany, Ireland, … And even more but those are the one I’m close to.
I enjoyed and am grateful to the help Greece brought to eFrance and me a few weeks ago though. I also, once my congressman’s term is done, plan to move on and visit some countries and meet some new people. I would like to visit China and get involve in one of their MU called “Smart Elite” temporarly.
But my place will always be in eFrance with Chillax.

12. What would you want to say to the new players in order to motivate them?

As I’m used to say, no matter the amount of damages they can do and stuff, their implication in the game is precious, it makes the game going and bringing more fun with more interesting people. First, the game appears like being hard but in reality it isn’t. They just have to communicate with regular and older players. Read some tutorials.
I’m used to offer some gifts to some beginners. For example, when I fight and take a look at who is fighting, I see some beginners, I just type their name in the search bar and donate some foods / weapons to them. They often are grateful and it’s cool, that’s what I wanted, helping and receiving a smile in return.
But, in another hand, I hate when people ask me, especially when they ask rudely or don’t even do the effort to write properly. I receive like 20-30 messages a day asking help (and I don’t count the one asking me for some help on the battlefield and golds loans...). It really starts to be annoying, but well... Seems like I have to deal with it.

13. We know you are an important soldier. How did you start?

Important ? I don’t know if I am, I can’t judge myself, I only see myself as a player who provides help when he can. I know that, a few times, I made a difference in some decisive battles but without people behind me, I would have done nothing.
I started the tanking when my first MU “The Joy Division” was raiding every sunday, I was really happy to provide help on the battlefield and fun for my team mates. I began in august 2011, but I was very week so I started to pay the full train and then I quickly felt into massive tanking when I found out I could make a difference in some battles.

14. If you could change one thing in eRepublik... what would you change?

I have no clue honestly... But one thing I really want the admins to make is to improve that political module and create spots for the ministers. So then we can know, in an official way, “who” is the minister of “what” in which country. Also, improving the military module would be great, because it doesn’t refresh itself every second or in real time. At least, that’s what I think...

15. What is your next mission in this game?

I told it earlier, I want to visit more countries like China, eRoC, Brazil.. and meet people. And I let my eLife guiding me and see where it takes me. For the moment I’m satisfied and maybe one of the happiest eCitizen on here. With the people I have around me, eFamily, eFriends... I have nothing to complain about.
