Some Numbers In Response To Claims About CAF Inefficiency

Several citizens of eCanada have expressed concerns that the Canadian Armed Forces are guzzling tax dollars.
Now, the CAF has and shall recieve a total of $436,389.25 CAD this Congress term.
Assuming that the kills here are normal levels: http://www.erepublik.com/en/rankings/miltary/1/23
The budget has a duration of 31 days. Therefore, CAF recieves $14,077.07 CAD/day.
The number of kills per day for this amount of cash is 1592 (Canadian Armed Forces and CAF 2 MUs). The total average kills for the month is therefore 49,352. However, this number is LOWER than it really is, because not all CAF members are in the CAF MUs, AND there is no data within eRepublik for the 3rd CAF MU, CAF Rangers. With the LOWER number, the cost of a kill is roughly $8.84 CAD. Again, this number is much more pricey than reality.
Also, CAF uses only Canadian products. We stimulate the economy.
If we take the lowest offer for food in eCanada, (Q5) at $3.30 CAD, and we assume that it takes about 3 hits to kill an enemy, it costs $9.90 CAD. And then if you factor in the price of a Q5 tank, for $40 CAD, that is an extra $24 per kill. So $33.90 CAD/kill.
So by giving the CAF funding, you save CAFers a bit under $8.84 CAD/kill. That's another bunch of kills for eCanada.
So please, don't worry about us being inefficient.

3. Due to TCO being a militia, they are not forced to follow government orders. They can decide to fight anywhere in the world. That $11.23/kill might not even be for Canada!
Are you saying that all CAF members hold their fights and listen to orders, never fighting in non-authorized battles? Are you implying that TCO is reckless about where we drop our damages?

1. They use slave pits. TCO pays their workers(to my knowledge) $3.40 CAD. Just ONE worker in an rubber plantation gives TCO $140 CAD! TCOers rake in over $7000 CAD/day!
I run the rubber and weapon companies and all the WRM that are produced gets turned into .. wait for it ... you'll never believe it .... WEAPONS!!!!!! ..... i know how shocking that must be for you.

Is there an MU election going on? Do we need to vote on which is best? I don't understand why there's been an 'attack ad' campaign going on recently between CAF and TCO. It seemed we were getting beyond all that recently.
It could be that TCO and CAF are becoming so similar that its members are trying to find ways show how they are different. I don't see how pointing out something wrong about TCO makes CAF correct. It could be that both groups need improvements, just in different areas. This is not a 'first past the post' kind of game.

The CAF member who works a regular job and gets paid a regular wage can then use those funds to buy his own weapons, rather than the slave pit model wheras the TCOer works the slave pit and then has his supplies donated to him (So in the end, the comparison is a wash)
If anything, following your argument logic, the discrepancy makes the CAF member look selfish, as he doesn't use any of his personal cash to defend Canada...

We know the TCO spends that on weapons and supplies. Can you guarantee, the CAF MU spends all 7000 CAD (member by member) that it earns in a day supplying itself individually?
Tem TCOers don't get the unfair presses that has been put upon the CAF recently, this article is merely trying to counteract some of what is being said that causes this pressure and views of those putting this pressure on us.

Also, when it states that TCO can fight anywhere they choose to and CAF has to follow orders it is ment to state the unfairness in that, in which both have the same fundig standards, yet only where the CAF uses it is controlled by the government.

@ Nucks, I keep seeing shouts from CAF members about their status for their mercenary medal. Are there being sanctions taken against these members, because I have not seen CAF or Government orders about the fighting in 30+ different countries in the last week or so...
So the argument that CAf members "Don't" fight where ever they want doesn't exactly hold water....
You know what my problem with the CAF is?
It has 160 members, 100 of which could be supplied to fight daily, but according to its own supply protocols it could only ever supply around 50 of them.
I don't like that HOPE, because we base our supply on who fights rather than some absurdly complicated ritualistic supply request, supplies MORE Canadians than CAF does.
^ Neither does TCO's version, I believe François L. Pignon was the first in eCanada.

@rolo, many CAFers, all the ones who post about the medal, are using their own funds also, it's called fighting in a CAF sanctioned battle, or at the very least for an Allie with the supplies.
@Jacobi the CAF only supplies to those who request it, meaning those who don't think they need it and those who are to lazy to ask for it dont get it, this means it only goes to those who are using it and improves the efficiency of the system. It also promotes activity this way. If you supply everyone it is a waste of effort, time and funds when people either aren't fighting with it or fight in battles where it isn't needed.

@max, the only difference between the CAF being the national army and not is meaning our forums are on the eCanada forums, so the government has some oversight, we are under government control for fighting and they ride us on any little thing they don't like. They care what we do with our money but hey don't give a rats ass about TCO spending of it. All it means is it's a little ploy for them to have more control over us.

Why would you use "kills" as your basis for this article? It's a stat that doesn't matter in the least. Influence matters, hits matter, kills do not matter. Kills are between 1 and 5 hits. If you're trying to justify CAF's budget, you've done a piss poor job.
