The road to progress is long in eRepublik. These last weeks I have been idling along scrounging Gold and training nearly every day (there was one bad party hangover day but the less said the better).


Then Plato has a Training Grounds special.

And I am 27 Gold short.

And there is a 72 hour deadline.

The frustration was unbearable! I yelled a bit.

I could not believe my luck. Opportunity! In trepidation I applied expecting a big no. After all, who am I? While I may be in Congress, I am new. I am not a well know fighter or even very prominent in our MU. Training all the time keeps you off the radar. Would I qualify? Would my path to success be shortened? Would I get a helping hand getting my Q4 Weights Room?

The answer came fast. I could barely bring myself to open the reply. I clicked.
