Effective tax rates have fallen under Obama's administration, as well as the deficit.
You are wrong on both accounts. Do you actually know anything about your country?

2008 Deficit was 458 Billion,
2009 (technically counted as Bush's budget) was 1413 Billion.
2013 deficit was 680 Billion.
So technically Obama has lowered the deficit.
Tax rates - lowered as part of Stimulus - but have expired (including the later social security tax cut)
Tax rates for some have definitely gone up (especially given Supreme Court determined the health care penalty a tax)
The man said that the effective tax rate has gone down. The effective tax rate has gone down (across all quintiles). That includes the Obamacare tax.
He said nothing about the deficit.
You can not count a negative annual budget that is less negative than previous yearaas a positive..... it's still F'n negative. And as far as the effective tax rate is concerned, trust me, I understand what it is. I have an undergrad in Finance anda masters in Econ. The total tax pool has increased due to higher number of ppl working compared to 2009 however the individual tax rate has increased. For example this year alone saw an increase in soc sec tax to 2%, family medical deduction was increased from 7 to 10% of gross income. Not to mention the increase in capital gains and estate tax. Anyone who says twerp dwerp must know their facts!!

There is zero economic doubt that Othere's statement about the effective tax rate is true. No debate about this at all. So yeah...you are twerp-a-derping.
Othere is also correct about the deficit but only in a technical sense. I would not make the point he did there. Still he IS at least technically correct.
