Resource Wars II - updated Day 3100 17:00. Slippery clay, finally caught!

Day 3,099, 18:23 Published in USA Canada by Ilene Dover

G’day America. It’s been a few days. Real life happens, so I won’t apologise for my absence.

Where are we on the numbers of resources released and claimed? Have a look:

Some observations and comments, with three weeks left to run.

1. The new resource is still the most popular. Half of the Unobtanium (sorry, Neodymium) has been released already. The first went to Pakistan, with the second going to Poland. Pakistan have a fully stocked new resource region in Balochistan, having invested four of their five picks on the new industry.

2. Weapons are still the least released resource.

3. Seven (from seventeen) rubber resources have been released. These have gone to South America (Peru and Argentina), Europe (Poland and Portugal), the Middle East (Saudi Arabia) and Asian (The Philippines and Thailand). Well done to these countries!

4. Eight (from twenty four) deer resources have been released. Europe (Portugal, Russia, Germany and Croatia), North America (USA and Cuba) and Asia (China and Australia) have taken these.

5. Two from seven granite resources have been claimed, with both going to Eurasia (Russia and Georgia). Georgia have a fully-stacked housing resource region. Congratulations - that takes some strategy to pull off!

6. Very common resources are not being released in as great quantities as the other types. It’s good to see the whole thing isn’t linear… Clay and Magnesium (both 42% allocated) and Neodymium (50% allocated) are the least available resources. I’m sure the relative difficulty of obtaining Neodymium surprises nobody.

How is the eUSA doing?

Better and better. We finally caught clay, a few hours ago. What a slippery little sucker that was!

Despite that, we’ve got a bit less than three weeks to get 37 more resources. That means almost two a day… Our bonuses so far, by industry.

Food

Food is our best supplied industry, which hasn't changed for awhile. We have four of the five resources (Deer, Grains, Fruits and Fish) for an overall national bonus of 80%. Our maximum region bonus is 70% at the moment in Nebraska.

Weapons

We picked up Aluminium recently. That gives us a national bonus of 25% and a maximum region bonus of 15% in Kentucky.

Winning a rubber resource is clearly a goal of the administration. Please, listen to shouts and MU orders closely. Sometimes it’s important to not be winning or our domination points collect too quickly.

Housing
So, we just picked up clay. What does that mean? Housing now has a national bonus of 70% from four(of five) resources (limestone, clay, wood and sand). Our maximum regional bonus is now 45%, in Washington.

New industry

Just recently we added Wolfram into the mix. With magnesium from earlier, that gives us a 30% national bonus and a maximum regional bonus of 20% in Utah.

Unobtanium is still out there...

Are you unhappy with how things are progressing? The potential for change is in your hands!

Listen to the DoD shouts and read their newspaper. Follow your MU orders - always always check before hitting. Sometimes we want to be losing battles. Don’t be the idiot TP and BH chaser.
