Presidential Update: Updated

Well, I intended to write a long article and will edit this later to be so and update everything, but I have to leave soon so shall make this short to begin with and cover the really important 'stuff'.


Inserted New Information


This is what I would have liked to start my first article as president with, but due to time constraints I had to write only about those things that were necessary to write about the issue that had and has cropped up at hand.



Military Updates

So far I have accepted four new members to our military and have three more pm's out there to confirm a possible three new members to our military beyond that. There is new blood in PH, we just have to get them connected to our community and involved in our military and keep our nation stronger.

Short Notes:

-Smily132 is probably looking for a new CO for the Rangers as he is the new MoD. If you are interested, contact him!


Main Gist:

Obviously, we are going to need some help in this coming war with Indonesia militarily. I have requested the help of our allied nations. Unfortunately, while the Luna network is coming alive again very fast, it is not perhaps fast enough to get adequate help to us.


Tomorrow there is a meeting for Luna and either me or Berritas will be requesting help from our allied nations. Singapore has pledged to send some soldiers as well as to become loosely connected with the Luna network.


While we have enjoyed US militia support in the past, I do not feel that this will be something that we will be able to enjoy due to their pre-occupation with regaining their own territory. We shall attempt for some anyways 🙂



War with Indonesia


Yes, as you would have read from the earlier part of the article, and mentioned above, Indonesia wanted a training war, and therefore that's what Indonesia gets. They intend to not wipe us, but we will work hard towards that goal for our own benefit very much so as well. Allies are coming, and Indonesia promises their help towards this goal as well. If it goes well, we shall only enjoy the added benefits of extra strength in our hands and better ranking.


At worst, we will be wiped very temporarily, start RW's, and should expect no resistance to reviving our nation quickly.


Domestic Updates
Just short notes here:


I have contacted Elari to get started with the new tutorial articles, which will be coming around soon.


Also, very soon a new welcoming message (within the next day or so) will be proposed in both Filipino and in English. This will be much better than the old one, as the old one, alas, does not work anymore and appears as gibberish.


Ariel David has worked on the application for the 5g or 1k PHP loans and I expect to release that link to the public very soon for people to sign up! The loan application is up!


Lastly, I will be getting ahold of the password for the MoM org soon and be sending it to Coco The Killa so he can get started with all that juicyness!!!


International Affairs

Besides the obvious Indonesia war going on-As mentioned briefly before, Luna is being revived through not only my own effort but of other fine gentleman that are coming to its aid. It seems I was not the only president that wanted to wave this proudly.





We have been in contact with all of our allied presidents and expect to have a great month aiding each other. Hopefully we'll be first up on that ballot with this Indonesia business 🙂.


Secondly, the gold that Indonesia owes us of the amount of 80g has, to my knowledge, not been paid to us. I have discussed this matter in earnest with the Indonesian president who has promised payment. When this happens I will be very happy to announce the good faith of the Indonesian government, which I do honestly look forward to.



Worldwide Picture




It's no great secret what ONE's next target is: After wiping Canada more recently and the US not so long ago (both of whom are RW'ing their existence back...into existence) they are coming after China. Serbia has had great aspirations as has Poland in pushing to the east in Asia. Sit back and enjoy the fireworks ladies and gentleman, we will be next door to a great firefight 😛.

NE proposal with Indonesia


Just today, Indonesia and their new president decided to declare 'war' on the Philippines. He and the country are after NE as they just lost their last NE with Canada. Thus, they are finding a new NE closer to home, eg, through us. They declared NE against the Philippines first. I responded as any good president to this by returning the favor.



As for their intentions, they intend to send their military to support us when we are on the defense so as to not wipe us. However, this does not by any stretch guarantee that we will not be wiped. I am attempting to gather Luna and other interested nations to our defense to ensure that we are not wiped from the map.


IF we are wiped, which is an unfortunate possibility and no fault of my own, we will as always RW the regions back into existence with no resistance from Indonesia. Again, this NE proposal would have happened if anyone was president. Indonesia loves having a natural enemy and this is not the first time they have declared NE against us because of their desire to have NE.


It has nothing but an unfortunate co-incidence that the new presidency came about and then this NE proposal. It was a response to something else that had already happened without my consent. I was, again, informed of the actuality of the NE proposal only after it occured.



We will fight valiantly, our allies will fight valiantly, and I can only hope that we can indeed depend upon the support of the Indonesian military to defend our territories. The upside to all of this is that, if it works out right, we will get some added rank and strength bonuses.


Impeachment
So, due to some mass hysteria and belief that this entire thing was my doing, a impeachment has been put in place against me. This is more about some people who really wanted to see Sigurd as president and not me. However, let me be clear to all congressman and all citizens, I am not so dingbat crazy that I decided that we are 'da best' and 'da strongest' and we can take on dem Indonesians so this what we're gunna do!


Yes, sorry to those who apparently think that that idea could have gone through my head. I am a capable and, as far as this case goes, competent leader that avoids wars where we will be very possibly wiped as much as possible and has a level of understanding about how to go about international relations. People don't get full rides to top ten ranked doctoral programs because their idiots. That, I am not.


Everyone has the right to vote the way they want to. However, there is no cause for this. Every sane and capable president would respond to a serious NE proposal from another nation with an NE proposal against them. It's as simple as that.



Other things I'd prefer to write about


-So far I have been busy messaging people about rebirthing Luna. Recreating the networks necessary. I have sent out tons of PM's to international allies to help us reconnect, been in contact with my MoFa's and almost all of my cabinet.


-Have already accepted three new members into our military and turned over the reigns to Smily132. We are going to revitalize our military


-I have contacted Elari about creating educational documents for new players and EZEX about accepting a few good applicants that want to join our nation to keep us growing stronger.


-I have messaged allies about pulling in support troops for our upcoming battles. So far I have had a few positive responses, and I am hopeful for more.


In short, I have had a very busy first day making sure we are going to have a strong month.
