Add your own quotes in the comments below!

1. Tell us a little about the RL Pat Harper/CptChazbeard.

Pat: RL I work as a mechanic, fixing and servicing old Volkswagen vans and beetles, it's just a stepping stone before I find the right job for me after my year abroad in Australia/New Zealand.
I have a cat called Tom, but I don't have fetishes like Oinyo 😛 I go to the pub most weeks, an after work ritual lol.
I'm fairly sociable, enjoy going out but also happy to sit all alone and play erepublik lol.

Chaz: I'm a sexual deviant and make up artist to the stars.

2. RL Hobbies and Interests?

Pat: I love driving, I own a VW Golf which I am always out in, as well as racing enduro/motocross for my local club.
I love history, mainly Romans and Greeks. I read stacks and watch any film to do with it, also love WW2.
I play PC games a fair bit, company of heroes, rome total war 2 and some first person shooters, mainly old style like counter strike and call of duty 4.

Chaz: Obviously erepublik is a hobby of mine. Aside from that I play rugby (like American Foosball but for men), drink, play Counter Strike: Source, drink, stalk exes on Facebook, drink, rant on phone-in radio shows on topics I have no idea about to wind-up listeners, drink, work on my VW camper (maybe Pat can help tell me where the engine is) and I like to play and customise guitars....oh and I'm partial to a drink too.

3. Best RL adventure you've been on?

Pat: Best adventure has to be ofcourse my year in Australia/NZ. Spent 6 months working as a sandblaster and then the rest of the time travelling up the Gold Coast, skydiving etc, and touring both islands of NZ, absolutely incredible. I recommend it to everyone!

Chaz: Probably the most outlandish one was joining a 'militia' group in Lesotho after leaving uni. We used to shoot tins of beans and drive around in clapped out 4x4s whilst awaiting “the next battle”. Nothing ever really happened so it was a bit of a damp squib.

As for the most adventurous adventure it was when I worked in Devon and Cornwall. I used to spend my weekends and time after work travelling around looking for old buildings/mines and meeting people along the way. The defining moment was 'discovering' (rea😛 someone told us where it was) an abandoned village near Morwellham Quay. We had to spend a couple of hours hacking through plant life to get to it but it was worth it.
Bar the wooden elements most of the structures were in tact and there were all sorts of artefacts still laying around. Sadly THE MAN wants to open it to the public and make it safe, completely ruining the charm of it (#keepoldplacesdangerous). Ever since then I've been a fan of urbex.

4. How did you start playing erep? Why'd you stay?

Pat: A friend asked me to join so he could get his community medal, he was banned for multis the day after but I got talking to some people and decided to stay, was the biggest noob for about 8 months and totalled about 300 strength, then decided to play properly, bought gold now I can't leave ;_;

Chaz: I used to use Newgrounds an awful lot and someone spammed the forum with eRepublik links. Having no fear for my computers safety I clicked the links and discovered the wonderful world of eRepublik. What made me stick around at first was curiosity, I hadn't played a game before with such a 'social module', and the media module, as a disgraced journalist IRL I was all to happy to start writing bollocks again.
I joined at a good time as the community was vibrant and full of tasty arguments, I still stick around hoping the necessary changes are made to bring that back.

5. Favourite Module and why?

Pat: Nothing, buy gold!

Chaz: Social/community if that counts. I love reading articles, talking to people etc etc

6. Both of you have been part of the eUK community and the eCanada community. Which do you prefer? What are the pros and cons for you in each?

Pat: Canada I love because I never managed to fit into the UK. They have a more elitist regime, as far as I'm concerned. Here on the other hand I was instantly accepted and when you get that response you put more time and effort into the country. As you know I ran multiple MUs trying to help young players, I did my fair share of PTOing clan wolf but it's all a bit of banter, I love Canada even if you do harbour bieber...

Chaz: I'm sitting on the fence so hard on this one a fence post is sticking out my mouth.

7. Pool Party Alliance? Confirm the rumours that the creation is imminent?

Pat: One day the world will be ruled by a new order.... That's right there is no illuminati, it's chazzypatty. And our policies are simple : pool party 24/7 with mountains of food, booze and...

...women of course 😛

Chaz: I long for such a day. The opening of the eUK Pool was the backbone of my heroic failures to become CP but mark my words it shall happen and there will be a Pool Party Alliance. There will be floats, ice creams and a dead hooker floating in the pool with a needle sticking out of her arm.

Now on to the specific questions for each player.

Pat Harper

1. You've been a past CP of eCanada, what can you tell us about that?

My CP term was the most fun I've had in the game, it was nice ofcourse having no congress so I didn't have much limitation on what I could do but I felt a real unification under me and managed to pull some amazing victories out the bag. Sometimes I look back at my old CP articles for reminders of the good times ^_~

2. What can you tell me about the treacherous CptChaz? I hear he is evilly plotting the demise of Plato as we speak!

Chazbeard is a dastardly individual who enjoys mugging old ladies and stealing candy from babies, he is the ultimate eSupervillan! My agents only last week uncovered a plot to steal the secret recipe to aunt Bessie's finest yorkshire pudding mix, and he was caught on surveillance feeding Bernard Matthews turkey's Mountain Dew and bicarbonate of soda!
I would share his iCloud nudes but the article would be taken down alas.

CptChazbeard

1. I've heard rumours that you're the MoD of eUK, how's the job? What's it like working in the UK govt? (P.S secrets plox)

I've had the pleasure of working under both Huey and WookieO who both have the nations interests at heart and are fully aware that I'm not all there mentally. So far neither has pulled me on the use of Will Smith pictures in MoD articles.

The major downside has been the worrying lack of communication in terms of the alliance. I don't know if it's apathy or whatever but it is something that needs to be fixed.
In terms of the game mechanics working in the MoD has been a constant reminder on just how money orientated the military module is. It's sad that a new player has to spent a tonne to be relevant and we've just had an EPIC COMPETITION!!!!! whereby nations should have asked their poorer players to not bother showing up for the week (or exporting them to sabotage other nations)

2. Unfortunately for us we have the hideous Pat Harper basking in his ugly glory here in eCan. What can you tell me about the fool?

I love Pat because he's the type of player that makes the game that bit more interesting. Schemers, duckers and divers; we need more of them.
He and Irv Noyb saved my eLife too. When I was just starting out I'd been effectively kicked out of my MU after being called a Russian, TUP spy (I had only just heard of Russia, let alone TUP). Feeling the game was full of eejits I was all but ready to quit, I gave Liberty (the MU Irv and Pat ran) a shot and loved it. Made me see that the game wasn't full of vindictive assholes. My time in Liberty and The Real Spamicans (the eUK equivalent of TMS) was without doubt my best.

Apart from that brief period yeah he's a complete dick and needs to be castrated.

Thank you for your time boys, it was a lovely poutine the three of us had. Together. Unified. At the same time.
