This is what I've been saying for a long time.

I also candidate myself for the position of MoHA to the next cabinet(s) of NL.

It's our own faults if we lose.

These guys aren't trying to do anything and it is literally one person in both divisions. They even fight for our battles when we ask, yet no one really seems to ask them anymore. I know I had good relations with them when I was MoD many moons ago.

Odan was a very fine MoHA. I think you are disqualifying your party m8 by your article.

Links are in the article. I've been warning for it multiple times before. It's the policy that's lacking of. The current stance has been 'no objections? ok, let him in'... it should be the other way aroun😛 'no good reason? no way hose'.

I agree with that but I hate putting half truths in political information. Yes IW members warned but also a IW member had the last call on this.

what half truths? And what does it matter from what party the members are? I'm not denying nor exaggerating those facts. I'm talking about policy and common sense. If the policy was 'no first, yes only until proven OK' and every doubt would've been seen as a red flag... We wouldn't have this mess. That's my point! I'm talking on policy for real issues, not about roles of parties and persons. I don' care who broke the China, I'm not even blaming anyone, I just want to see it fixed.

I see no allegations to anyone in this article, just a call to change the general attitude.

The way the article is written clearly tells one message: "Our current immigration policy is rubbish". To substantiate this message, two examples are given.
The two people ultimately responsible for immigration are the MoHA and the CP for having appointed the MoHA, and having the right to dismiss him at any point. Apart from these people, the people who vouched for these immigrants are also responsible.

So there definitely are allegations. The people who are involved (in the specific cases of the examples) are odan (I&W) twice as MoHA, Trannsvaal (VN) as CP, NoTie112 (ReL) as CP, and several people, one of which is yourself, who were in favour of accepting these people.

A very populistic piece, trying to blame someone else for the mistakes of your own party members.

I was amazed when I first saw the policy with foreign citizens, applying for Dutch citizenship. The policy is stricter than the PVV in real NL. There is also a lot of complaining about the activity of eDutch citizens and the lack of new players. With such a strict policy on immigration, we lose activity. With a much more stricter policy, there will be fewer new active citizens. A consideration between immigration and activity is needed.

Personally, I think with a standard 'no' we will be limiting ourselves. A triple check or more people who will be checking the new foreign citizens is more like something I'd like to see. Why say No to someone of a foreign country who has nothing to offer but can't also harm our country?

a triple check would be better indeed. And I see it as basically the same as what I propose. Standard No is what everybody who requests citizenship already have, that's why they apply in the first place. But I'd rather see our 'yes, i don't see why not' change into a 'hell yeah, let him in!'.

Better safe then sorry Spir Tus, as a small country with a small number of people you have to be very careful who you let in.

A lot of those people are out for easy congress medals and government positions, which they may take over real life Dutch citizens. I am against that.

If they have nothing to offer, let them leave. It is far from comparable to RL, as they can still take NL jobs, have no life-threatening situation in their home country, et cetera.

One word of caution, ”yes, there’s a lot of bad that comes in –granted”. But, let’s not let the bad apples ruin it for the serious player’s…sound judgment is very important in a situation like this. Keep in mind that immigration is a part of the game. It encompasses all eNations.

Don't make it too difficult for immigrants. In this case it was already clear on forehand that there is a possibility of a threat, just only say yes, unless there are doubts stated, then you already tackled this problem.

Anyway, the problem is caused by certain individuals, personally I really did very low effort in damage this tournament and I'm number 10 in the eNetherlands, so we'd better also look at ourselves here... It cannot be the case that division 1 has more damage than division 2 and almost the damage of division 3....

Finally some (older) player who looks at it this way as well (and dares to say it). I've been asking for more guidelines and criteria for this (and several other) issues to prevent errors like this but was laughed at about several issues.
I like the No good reason to let them in then don't let them as well although that also should be given criteria. Something like "he did do well for us in the past" isn't as for what's good or not isn't clear as well. Only think about all the HC discussions we had in the past especially when people like samproiz got it due to the fact he supplied on irc during the night... But guidelines for that got laughed away as well and we still have a ridiculous, or at least illogical, system despite the improvements made.

Well at least we will get to learn some Spanish in the near future. Much better than having to figure out Turkish.

A lot of negatives have been said about PG members who do not want to move over to DAF for the tournaments, but all our strong fighters that belong to foreign MU's are simply forgotten about. Maybe it is time for Dutch people to join Dutch MU's regardless of extra supplies in other countries. The game has shifted it is probably more profitable for the nation to have their damage in DAF, so we can get the most gold reward for all our people.

You are wrong about people in foreign MU's. I do average of almost 1200 hits (based on the last 7 days) and without those "extra supplies" I couldn't fight as much as I do. Me fighting this much with the help of foreign MU supplies also helps eNL and has helped eNL in previous tournament.

Still, this is only for three days..?

eNL could by now easily have supplied extra weps with a proper implementation of the commune system and MG.
Apart from that; You yourself could do without as you are already buying tons of gold so a bit of extra for the weps you would hardly notice 😉

If you have a problem with my MU and its members, I hope to send me a message and let's talk.
When MU was created in eNL we came to support them, eventually I understood that you had internal problems, I returned my citizen to Chile.
We do not interfere in politics, we just fight.
We are ready to help when eNL needed (but must be able to be sorted internally).

Finally I think this situation show that I think should be organized as a country, and hopefully help them grow and see ways to increase the members of eNL.

and wanted to add, I think it's better to have people entering eNL friends that people wanting to TO. IF you are not able to grow and close their borders are a target of Serb TO or similar people.

sure that's nice, still our whole nation is thwarted of a lot of rewardgold in this tournament because of only a few players

you think I'm a problem, but the real problem is that ENL community can't to grow and a lot of good eNL players are not in eNL MU's ... maybe are doing something bad.
If the eNL community wants us out we will go, but you need make better arguments and and have a little respect for us because we have not treated badly, we're just clicking and fighting in this game (enjoy the game).

If you want to help eNetherlands you can join DAF during tournaments...

If everyone is in the same MU the rewards are maximized. 😉
I switched to DAF from PG for this very reason.

But of course you are free to have fun. I stayed in PG during the previous MU tournament, and in the end we won in my division. The number of people wasn't that different in those days.

This time however, it was quite clear that DAF had become the largest MU in all divisions, making it much better for all of eNL to unite in one big MU, giving everyone the full reward.

You have now proven that even a small MU can win in several divisions. But that must have cost you a lot... Probably those supplies might have been more useful at another time.

-djirsdew: what supplies? i have a lot of q7 factories, but you have a good point when talk about the union, the really is i don't want win... we hope win the third place like the last tournament but I have a good friends and they hit more than a entire national division (that was unexpected).
If we continue in eNL need organization with the goverment, we do not want to affect their interests.

maybe next time we can make some arrangements, because fighting here is not going to help anyone. I'm happy there is some talks at least here, you are not hiding and that is very positive to see!

I think on this specific issue of tournaments the gov and we people can have talks i guess, and try make sure things go better next time, it is unfortunate that this happened, but truthfully what is the loss? It isn't very big. And if Don Gabo is really offering a good MU to fight on our sides we be nuts to refuse it. So lets just forget this happened not a whole lot that we can do now.
But we should open some talks with the private MU's as a whole see if we can't work out things better next time, and not wait till next tournament is announced and than try and scramble than and hope it all works out.

Your military unit showed us some prediction we was not aware before. Your MU is one great military force, and at my opinion you should keep recruiting sympathizers of Netherlands from your country to come and fight for NL and allies. At my opinion I would like if every nation has one MU in Netherlands where players of that country would be in it.
But as NL community members we should listen to NL Government and to respond at NL planned war actions. Of course MoD is the person which could communicate with all NL MUs commanders.
And at end we all can agree if one tournament pops up to join official NL army unit (DAF) and to maximise individual rewards for all our members and also to increase Military Unit amounts of currency based on its leaderboard standings and opponents defeated throughout the tournament.

Next time lets fight together in same MU, and this time we fight together side by side at same campaigns but only in different Military units.

Unity and brotherhood are emotions we should be guided by. All this situation pop up because we had dual with another NL private MU which was fighting and paying Combat orders at our enemy side.
There is enough place for all of NL fighters and all of them should not compete one against another.
Main condition is that every MU acknowledges supreme commander of NL army (MoD).

Please do not leave because some of our citizens are upset that they are poor fighters. The truth is they feel threatened by the fact that your MU is better at fighting then most of the Dutch players combined. I know you guys are good players and fighters with good intentions.

The only reason the problem arose now DG is due to the fact that there are two players, one in D2, one in D3, that did put up a huge fight somewhere, spending loads of EB's and by that frustrating the tournament that has no nice rewards to fight for. The only sensible thing therefore was to concentrate players in one MU, do the regular fighting without overspending on weps/EB's and by doing so gain the reward of the Training Contracts and safe around 17 gold that can be used for supplies or other matters.
I don't know why those players fought that hard. I hope it wasn't for the tournament as they would have lost then as rewards are way to low. Hope it has been a good fight fore Chile itself.

Pretty much nailed it in this comment. A few players really spend an extraordinary amount of supplies, well more than this tournament gives in rewards. Rewards which were craps in itself from the start. They would have been nice, but not worth spending a lot of precious eb's and all. As Weekstrom said, I just hope they had a good fight for Chili or one of their allies.

That or they were still pissed we beat them during the World Cup. 😛

Maybe we should worry a little harder about our emigration policy. Why is everybody RUNNING AWAY????
