On distorted view of political module in eUK
THE EMPRAH
Hello everyone,
I’m not in the habit of writing articles, but the internal political strife in eUK, these last few days, has escalated to a point that made me take some time and speak my mind on this subject. For those few willing to hear it.
I am referring to a strife that is happening between CP and his ministers on one side and congress members on the other. Don’t get me wrong, I find it quite refreshing in comparison to our usual bickering on party levels. Sadly, at it’s core there are still parties, but I’ll come back to that later perhaps.
Distribution of political power i.e. where does the power lie.
Who holds the power?
Is it all in the hands of CP and as extension of his will, his handpicked Ministers?
Is it in congress? Filled with members from different political parties, some of whom won’t even speak to each other, let alone show some respect to their adversaries.
Or maybe Party Presidents? Who alone have the power to nominate and support candidates for both CP and CM positions.
The obvious and simple answer is all of them. ALL of them.
Congress and the limitations imposed on it’s independent thought.
On more than one occasion I’ve rolled my eyes seeing some ludicrous law proposal put before the congress. Some of those were out of inexperience, some born of desire to hurt our country, and some simply proposed for fun.
But we must keep in mind that every single law proposal made by a congress member is legitimate. There is no such thing as a rogue proposal, as they are called so often. By the power vested in them by the people of eUK, Congress Members have the right to propose any law they deem fit. And by that same power the rest of the congress has to judge that proposal with conscience and sound mind.
Distorted image of congress.
The problem we have at hands right now is that congress is looked upon as a group of mindless drones that will click yes or no simply based on the instructions sent from above. Those instructions almost always come in the form of suggestion and advice, but when they aren’t followed all hell breaks loose. Insults are thrown, articles get written, fingers pointed. This is usually an effective way to silence any form of congress independance, simply because most of the people don’t want to be publicly scorned.
Yet simple truth is that in this game, we have a certain set of rules imposed by game mechanics and no amount of rhetoric can change that. And by those rules, congress has far more authority and responsibility than it might seem. For example, CP can not disband congress, but congress can impeach CP. No war can start without congress approval. No set of taxes can be changed. No one can gain citizenship without member of the congress approving it.
Somehow, in the eyes of our Presidents, congress became just a necessary nuisance. That has to change.
I do apologize for this long winded article,

excellent artice
Congress should be consulted, but matters of international relations necessitate a single voice representing the UK. If that person comes back and presents their findings and congress ignores it, it is irresponsible and dangerous
The issue is in how congress is elected. You get people in congress who really shouldn't be privy to all of the information. There is certain key information which not even 20% of the CPs selected cabinet should be privy to. You tell congress everything then it will get leaked to the exact person it shouldn't be and the enemy have the upper hand. The eUK is full of people who just want to get to the top and they will let information slip accidentally trying to look like billy big bollocks.
Thankfully TWO is just a battering ram so right now it doesn't really matter, but if the sides ever do even up this is something that needs to be addressed. Currently, telling congress information is effectively telling the public. Hell, I know everything that is going on in those chats and on a working day nowadays sometimes I only log on for 2 mins after day change, let alone get anywhere near IRC.
What is the point in all of the CPs meetings that go on if he can't even convince his congress of the plans. You need a CP that can convey the necessary information to congress to get them to vote correctly. Yes. I said it, correctly. If it is planned that the eUK attacks A while country B in TWO attacks country C so that both of us are helping D to not be wiped, we draw up plans, decide on the timings of the attacks and then because the CP derps we look like right idiots in front of our allies and that really will not be good for the future reshuffle of alliances. There must be a shuffle coming soon, TWO is just too boringly dominant.
Meh, I have already logged in over my daily quota today.
A very fine set of points well raised and well written, voted.

Let's all abstain from voting in the Congress Elections, so that there is no congress. We'll have the CP and his ministers, who can propose aides to the CP/PP for consideration.
PS s and v.
Or we could be wiped and then just the CP votes 😃
...
Great Article, lots of very valid points.
Good article, down the Executive tyranny
what Keers said.
While the article is good, I think you miss a few valid points, particularly that I do not consider myself opposed to Parliament and the crucial role the Prime Minister plays in the nation and foreign affairs. In particular, the fact that I plan and direct our war effort, and, as such, if the government says 'we do not want a war with Ireland', that means we do not want a war with Ireland and will prosecute it as we see fit. Parliament does not plan war at all, although they can be privy to plans made. It has been suggested we make Parliament privy to more plans, particularly TWO meetings, but I look at Canada and it kills that idea for me. For those unaware, their plans were leaked.
Good Article, o7
Great article, well-written and definitely helps my understanding. o7
idiots! They are everywhere..
The obvious and simple answer is none of them. NONE of them.
Well said sir
Being back the old congress system I say!!!!!!
Voted!
I have written an article on every vote what I voted and why. I do wish it was possible to see whom voted what.

Utter nonsense.
If anything, this has proven that Congress is incapable of starting a successful war without the cooperation of the executive branch.
You want a demonstration of why executive government is better? Look at Irelan😛 a country with few military advantages over Britain. Yet we could probably smash every country our size into dust. Why? Centralised military coordination controlled by a centralised government based around the President.
