Moo on Community

This is the Sixth article in my series on what I would do if I get elected. I think it is important to have a clear plan of action at the start of the month because a month goes by quickly.

We have been blessed as a nation to have had some great ministers of community the last several months. This month if I am elected Irish princes will be continuing in this job. We want to change direction this minister has been going. Up to now the Minister of community ran the lottery and had some great competions during the month. I think we need to extend the job to cover what the community is in this game. The community is where we meet and socialize, debate and learn. In real life that might happen at the pub, the GAA club, or church. In this game that happens on the IRC, national forum, and Chat rooms. I am proposing that the minister of community becomes an events coordinator and I can not think of a better hostess then Irish Princess. We will schedule at least five different events though out the month. The events will all have themes, published times and places. The themes will be things such as political debate, quiz nights, question and answer with politicians, educational talks with leading experts, etc. The purpose of these events in to instil a since of community in our country and make the game more engaging.

In the sprit of setting big targets next month, we are also going to set up an exploratory committee to look at re freshening up the National forum and adding some features to it to make it more attractive to use. The committee will be assigned to research what features other national forums have and issue a report with recommendations to the Dail.

We have will not completely forget the fun events and will have a big world cup drawl and get the lottery going again. The Princes will need a court to help her fulfil her minister jobs as well as VP. So we will be looking for junior ministers this month to do things like run the lottery.
