What do you mean I never handed in accounts? I handed over what was left of the supplies, IEP, and gold over to IrishGawain. There wasn't a whole lot left after the treasury theft. Not only that, but Bean didn't donate very much. It was a a few hundred Q6 tanks.

Boot Camp was my favorite position here in Ireland. It was incredibly rewarding to help new players like Malbekh helped me. Keep on doing what you do, Release. Have fun. lol questioning my viewpoint when yours was simple to use immigration to increase party size. I recall strictly wanting every applicant to have a good history in the countries they were past citizens in. That was it.
I contacted everybody on the list along with references and relevant Government officials.
Congress agreed on the immigration protocol, despite this the ILP ignored it and let in 3 people with the intention of strengthening their party numbers.

The only area I have concerns about is denying someone for lack of references. Not everyone will have them, especially if they've not been that active a player on the fora or IRC. Supplying false information is one thing, not having references is something totally different.

It's completely hypocritical to say, because I left the eUS right after starting, without any references (wasn't asked for any though) and was let in....

So with admitting to being a hypocrite, I personally disagree with the lack of references topic. Security's too important, and the longer the game is around, the more of a threat PTOing is going to become (old players need reasons to keep playing after all) With security being as big of an issue with our congress, and with references being a part of the agreed process, I have no problem being the bad guy and denying them for the lack of references.

So far, it's been pretty easy helping them find one or two people that they didn't think about at first, for references however.

Some information that didn't make sense put up red flags for me personally in one of these cases. References are a valuable tool for checking applicants, but I think we try to take all of the available information into consideration before definitively deciding yes or no on an individual.

I'm of the same mind as you in terms of the availability of references for a lot of players.
