Meet the Irish

While many nations are venturing to the other side of the globe, the qualifying round of a new tournament is being held. One nation succeeds in its first airstrike while former allies clash again.

MEET THE IRISH

The Irish airstrike against Slovenia was a success. Though Ireland was greatly outnumbered by both the MMPs and population of Slovenia, it's allies in Aurora contributed heavy damage and were able to help Ireland succeed in her first airstrike. It isn't expected at this point that Ireland will remain in Slovenian regions for long, as they will fighting off heavy resistances without MPP support. Regardless, with Chile and Macedonia's global ventures, Aurora is doing very well when organizing its damage.

THE EWORLD CUP

You might not know it, but each nation is actually competing in an eWorld Cup based off of the top players in experience points for each nation. For more information on the rules, see this article. The tournament is currently in the first stage of the qualifying rounds. Ireland is currently tied for lead in group 4, with goals recently scored by Don Croata, FRITZHILL, BickUA, and BiednyMis.

LET'S TRADE

Iran is facing another wave of attacks from Turkey. The two were close allies during the last months of EDEN. Once CoT had fallen, and TWO began to split further between Spoland and Serbia's influence, Iran had held MPPs with Poland, Spain and the UK. Turkey had held MPPs with Serbia and other members of TWO. Interestingly, the situation has flipped and the nations appear to have swapped MPP stacks since the new alliances have formed.

LET'S GET SIRIUS

A handful of nations are enjoying the view of their homeland from afar. Spain continues its war with Argentina in South America, Paraguay has meanwhile moved into Europe and been immediately NEd by Hungary. Brazil has just been removed from Asia after a war with Pakistan. Ireland has moved into Slovenia. Macedonia continues to hold Australian regions. Chile continues to conquer regions in Europe. Lastly, Peru remains an island in the middle east after its brief war with Saudi Arabia.

MY CURRENT MISSION

For now, I have been fighting hard for the National Shield Tournament. I've considered holding a "Raven Week" in a couple months, once my 2 year ebirthday comes up, as I've only written half as many articles this year as I did last. In the meantime, I'll be choosing my battles carefully, and will not waver in the fight for Canada either.
