I would like to announce my intention to run as Country President. This month just gets better & better, doesn't it😃

Firstly, I would like to thank my People's Political Party for their support and trust. The Peace 'n' Prosperity Party, Te Pori, Ranguini & Love and Peace have also thrown their support my way and I can't thank them enough. It should make for an interesting election and I wish my competition the best of luck too. It's just a game so I just want it to be a nice, clean, fun election🙂

Secondly, I had better introduce myself to those poor eKiwis that haven't heard of me. I am Crusadercarl. I am a RL Kiwi. I was a Tuna Fisherman but I have now got a nice office job as I got sick of killing lovely big animals with a hacksaw...

Due to my fishing job I wasn't able to be as involved in eNZ as I would have liked. I was CP a long, long, long time ago. I have held many offices. I have been Vice President a few times, MoD a few more, an advisor to many past Presidents and even when I'm not in an official position I will offer my opinion to whomever will listen, mostly while drunk on IRC. I am usually forgiven because everyone that knows me understands how much I love this country and how frustrated I was by not being able to contribute due to my job.
However! Circumstances have changed and during thelast two months I have enjoyed reviving my eRep addiction🙂

Now down to business.



All CPs hate doing this and it's usually the weak point a Government. I will make sure my MoI (Minister of Information) does a weekly article, at the very least, keeping you all informed with what's going on. I can't promise the articles will include bikini pics, I'm sorry.



I believe in this department we're pretty much doing all we can already. Through our Government organisations we should be working the monetary market. Our only other source of income is from taxes. I won't be asking our congress to changing the work tax. While increased revenue would be handy I'm not going to raise it and take more from those eKiwis that have spent their hard earned gold or currency to buy companies. Especially when the economy module already makes it so hard to make any profit. As for import tax & VAT well these have remain unchanged for a long time. I think they're where they should be. I believe in low import taxes to keep domestic market prices low. This might hurt our company owners a bit here but I don't believe in protecting a few at the cost of the majority. VAT is one of the only source of income that the Government really has. I'd leave them where they are.
All that being said however, if anyone has any opinions or new thoughts that could help eNew Zealands economy then I would love to here them🙂



Well, I'm going to make official a few things that are already happening in this department. The reality of us being a small country and the limitations of the current economy module means that I believe it is more efficient for eNew Zealand to privatise our Defence Force. Soooooo I would plan to keep the current NZDF MU for our newer players (Division 1 & 2) and for those tired old players (Like Kurojca😃) that just want to self supply and be left alone. This will allow my Minister of Defence (MoD) to focus on communication with our current private MUs and battle strategy. The Government will also support our private MUs through the combat orders system (CO) or through individual supply. Female uniforms will be changed to short shorts and very small tops.



Where do I even start. With MPPs I suppose, I want more. I'd have my MoFA, MoF & MoD staff put their heads together and work out which would be efficient economical options. Maybe COs will just be a more economical way to provide damage where we need it. I should probably have already looked at all this and worked it out but it hurts my brain. If elected I'll make others work it out and then take the credit.
As for the rest, at this stage I know that our current government is accessing options. We don't even really know what Macedonia (FYROM, whatever) is doing here. I will need to wait for some answers before deciding on my approach.
The Indonesian campaign seems to be over before it began, as since we lost Canterbury we no longer share a border with them. Even if we removed Macedonia (FYROM, whatever) from our lovely country, I would be hesitant to resume this war as I believe Chile would most likely NE us as well. But in saying that I like having a NE and the rank bonus it provides so I might decide to throw caution to the wind and just push the button again. Whatever I would decide here I will asking our elected representatives, Congress, for their opinion first.



I believe we could be a bit more pro-active in this department. I want my Minister to hunt down our new players and spank them till they get involved in eNZ😃 But seriously, I want an innovative, enthusiastic education and support system. We must investigate ways to find these new players and not wait for them to find us. I'm hoping that we can implement a supply program for our division 1 & 2 players under my army reform ideas which, I believe, will greatly encourage them to stay in the game. I will also update the welcome message new players receive so they know where to go and what to do to best play the game for eNZ.
We'll be writing articles that explain all the mechanics of the game, although I don't know how effective this is. It would be handy to be able to provide the links to these articles for future new players to reference and learn from.


And that's it. I hope I haven't bored you to death already. But it's your country and I wanted to assure you that I do not intend to be idle if you decide to elect me as your CP. I have plans!
