Huey George - Presidential Manifesto

Day 5,980, 23:37 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Huey George

Hello Reader

There is lots to look forward to in the term ahead so once again I ask for your support to continue as your Country President \o/

💎Day 6,000 approaches, one must wonder if this will bring any major or minor changes to the game.
👍We are at the start of a new period of increased cooperation and coordination with Brazil via a new partnership of two nations which share many core values.
🔥Our training war stack and national reserves are plentiful and opportunities are abundant to raise UK Training War epics, optimise our rank growth and earn reward via battles.
The UK remains a place where any player with three core attributes of determination, active energy pool / account management and a supportive government can find success
🗳 No doubt our thought-provoking and engaged democracy will continue to thrive.
💪 We can run another Tactical Assessment and Readiness Exercise or TARE and possibility introduce a “Ground Force and Aviators Group kills” challenge (GFAFK)

What makes a successful UK?

Our success continues to be built upon three key elements: individual prowess and achievement, collective agreement, and unwavering government support dedicated to player advancement. The optimisation of Military and Aircraft Ranks remains crucial for our nation's prosperity, and my government is committed to propelling us forward in this regard.

This strategy is supported by our proven neutral and considerate foreign affairs approach that continues to perform strongly for the UK. My opponent actually summed up the eUK’s current diplomatic situation very well, describing it as strong for where we want to be at the moment. We are at peace with no major threats, and potential alliances are in the works thanks to the hard work of Citoyen Vigneron and our Brazilian friends.

The strategy also pragmatically supports our players through initiatives such as the Christmas Air Programme, Air Cadet Programme, British Armed Forces Q7 Weapon Rewards Scheme, and National Giveaways. These programs are diligently administered, providing tangible benefits to our citizens.

My holistic approach is not just about strategy; it's about empowering our citizens. Our initiatives pave the way for more active participation in Weekly Challenge to earn Prestige Points (PP) including the special Weekly Challenge events. It's also not just about optimising ranks; it's about having fun—the very essence of the game.

Ensuring every citizen is an empowered participant in our nation's success is paramount. The UK remains an optimal place for rank growth under my leadership, and it's never too late to catch up.

We are doing great \o/ Let’s keep it up!

Finance and Military Funding

The cost of fighting

There has been lots of discussion about our finances and military funding in the past term.

So as part of this campaign, I thought I would investigate the cost of fighting in greater depth and share. This was a little tricky to calculate and likely missing elements hopefully nothing too critical. However as you’d expect the cost of fighting is strongly determined by player energy pool management to hit lower weekly kills or rank growth targets. With the use of energy bars purchased by gold gained from battlefield medals the mechanism to significantly increase your kills across the week and therefore your rank growth.

There are other elements which you can read about here out in this article - https://www.erepublik.com/en/article/player-guide-to-an-active-warrior-playstyle-2776319/1/20

By their nature player support schemes should encourage rank growth optimisation. They should better reward those who are making a committed effort to grow their rank at the heart of their design and be open and fair for all players based on data and evidence.

Schemes such as the ones we currently run highlight and reward those who are very active in account development via good energy pool management, battlefield management and regular interaction with our military newspapers.

This should be seen in a 'good light’ to help other players find their own determination, improve their active energy pool management supported by a government of ideas.

My opponents' plan is highly unlikely to help or motivate more players to spend more time and effort on improving their ranks as I don’t think it asks enough in terms of return on investment.

An aim to provide citizens 1,500cc per week, as long as they are eligible for ground / air rewards - meaning they have done one kill during that week and plans to combine ground/air kills at 6 CC per kill, with a weekly cap of 10,000cc will not change player activity when it comes to rank growth.

The tables below are somewhat a “work in progress” to attempt to simplify the cost for player while fighter however in reality there are so many variables.

As our current player base is largely self-sufficient and affluent, and new players joining the game with only a bit of time, effort and support can get into a stable and growing financial position and if you are active with your energy pool management you can and many players do reach minimal weekly targets for kills / rank growth at little cost.

As a reminder in the current market conditions a player can earn more than 40,000cc a week and with a Q1 house active this can be doubled.

So it remains optimal to support those who are exceeding minimal kill / rank growth targets especially those who do / may have an energy bar burn rate which player support schemes will never comprehensively support but can somewhat support the personal effort.

Taxation

What players pay in taxation should have little influence on how taxes are used to collectively benefit the UK. It also depends on how often you work, the houses you buy and have active, where and how often you work as manager, what your holding companies produce and where you sell your products .etc

It's logical to assume that schemes encourage players to do more kills to receive rewards will have a better longer-term impact on the UK economy as it’ll encourage players to do more of the "above clicks" such as work more often to raise their “fighting funds”, produce more food and weapons via work as manager to be self-sufficient and purchase or produce housing to utlise larger energy pools to fight more often to earn vital gold to fund the energy bars required to reach higher kill targets.

It feels counterintuitive for military and economic growth to devise a system which better rewards players for doing less, based on the notion that this will inspire them to do more… So long story short my government will continue to support the Christmas Air Programme, Air Cadet Programme, British Armed Forces Q7 Weapon Rewards Scheme.

This remains the way to empower our citizens to grow their ranks and improve their accounts so the UK can remain the bright, vibrant and active community we are, with a freedom of choice in an Erepublik world dominated by the military module

Economic, Military and Foreign influence growth
Our tax revenue from our training war partners will continue to be returned. Our monetary market activity should continue to generate additional revenue beyond our taxable income. We should ensure our important regions for producers will remain free. Our "spare" resources will be part of concession agreements at this moment with Spain.

We’ve had a long-term strategy aimed at enhancing productivity in Scotland by extending invitations to and hosting a nation offering a 200% weapons bonus to the region. My Government will maintain this strategy.

For a country of our size, the UK is in excellent financial health. We use our extra revenue to generate further funds from the monetary market. We can afford and run an array of player support schemes that promote rank growth, retain players, and keep players engaged.
Our player base is largely self-sufficient and affluent, a new player joining the game with only a bit of time and effort can get into a stable and growing financial position.

Our neutral and considerate strategy has served us well for a number of years. Government will look to maintain and enhance this via partnerships such as the one we are forming with Brazil. We are a well-respected country and training war partner. There is a long list of countries who would very much like to visit the UK for a training war.

On Training wars, my Government will continue to manage and where possible grow (if viable) our training war stack. These will continue to be administered to the highest of standards required of our citizens and partners.

We will run another Tactical Assessment and Readiness Exercise (TARE)
https://www.erepublik.com/en/article/mod-tare-exercise-1-2777545/1/20

We will trail a Ground Force and Aviators Group kills” challenge (GFAFK) - plans to follow however a “team based” weekly challenge with a similar aim to the TARE on improving communication and coordination between players.

We will do a Day 6,000 National Giveaway to get a good turn-out of our community on Day 6,000

Together we can preserve a strong robust, fair, and beneficial economy

Call for support

As always I would like to invite individuals from our community to join me and form a government with me. The success of any administration lies in the strength of its team, and I am opening the doors for applications to key roles in my cabinet. If you are passionate about contributing to the growth and prosperity of the UK, I encourage you to apply. Together, we will form a dedicated team committed to the betterment of our beloved country.

Provisional Government

Wingfield will continue in a player support/communication, finance and statistical analysis role for Government

Citoyen Vigneron will continue to support with foreign affairs and alliance discussions.

THE EMPRAH will continue to support on defence matters where required

I am grateful for the support I receive 💕, enabling us to steadily progress towards our shared vision for the UK.

Based on my experience, listening to the UK citizenry, being responsive and responsible, and doing our best to earn their trust are crucial. This is how elections are won.

If elected, I will continue to prioritise player support, economic activities, and military and aircraft rank growth. I will ensure the high standards of our training wars and support schemes are maintained

Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to continuing to serve the best interests of our citizens if elected again.
