How NOT to promote your youtube videos.

I upload gaming videos on youtube, and while I wouldn't call myself an old wise man, I have picked up a few things. Here is my list of things you should NOT do when you are trying to make it big on youtube.
1.) DON'T TRY AND MAKE IT BIG ON YOUTUBE.
If you are just on youtube to be like the yogscast, PewdiePie, or Tobuscus, don't bother. Make videos because you love to make them. Don't do it to be famous and make money. It is very rare that you will break from the pack (The other youtubers doing the EXACT SAME THING)
I was like this, but once I got in the hang of making them, I began to love to do it. I don't do it to get huge anymore, I do it because I appreciate it when people watch my videos. Do the same, and you will be happy. You might even get yourself a loyal group of subscribers! That brings us onto point 2...
2.) DON'T SUB4SUB!!
Have you ever seen these people? The guys with 100 subscribers and only 1'000 video views. They are big sub4subs. Sub4Sub is when you subscribe to one person in exchange for them subscribing to you. Wait for other people to subscribe to you, people who enjoy your videos. Very rarely will someone see your channel and think "Only 10 subscribers? Even though the video I just watched was great, I won't subscribe!" Promote yourself well, and you will find a group of people who WANt to watch your videos. To point 3!!
3.) DO NOT PROMOTE ON OTHER PEOPLE'S CHANNELS!!
You heard me. This is the WORST thing you can do! People don't appreciate it, and will post hurtful comments on your videos or dislike them. It is a bit like piggy backing on someone elses fame. Don't be one of these people. We look down on them. Promote on other websites, but not on other channels. It won't help.
4.) DON'T BUY VIEWS!!
Ever seen those sites? People claiming you can buy 10'000 views for $50!!!! Don't do it. Even if it is real, which it is not, it will look weird. One video would have over 10'000 more than the rest. You'll be caught out quickly.

sure not that bad. what programs do you use? maybe a tech article on it would be appreciated we know there is a 10 minute limit or were in the past.
your 100% about not buying votes or doing anything to promote it however once you start wanting to make money. how will you get subscribers. also are you shy post a link so that we can check out your work.
