Holy Cow Look Who is Running for PP of the IFP

This is my manifesto for the job of Party President of the Irish Freedom Party. I hate writing these things but think it is important to set goals and work to achieve them. So I will not bore you with who I am or what I have done in the past but what will bore you with what I will try to achieve in the next month. One quick thing first, Snake said last month it does not matter who is elected PP of the IFP because we all work as a team to get the job done. Every once in a while he comes up with a very true statement. I believe in team work and will be looking for all party members to help out, vote on issues, and jump in and take on any project that needs to be done. The more help the better.

Now what are my goals for the next month if elected?

First Recruitment- We used to be a small party when I joined, and we worked hard to get to were we are today. Lately, we have got a little easy going and been able to sit back as a party and get new members just because we are the largest party in the country. I want to make recruitment a priority again so some of the new parties (and they know who they are and am sure will comment below) do not catch us like we caught IUP. I am not going to be sending out mass spam pm’s tiring to get members, the weather is too good in Ireland now for spending time doing that. I will start some more creative advertising campaigns. I want to brand our party not as the large right wing party but as the party that has fun, helps new members, and works together as a team ( Might use that as a slogan instead of ripping off an Obama slogan which I did the last time I was PP). I have some other top secret ideas for increasing membership but will keep them in the vaults of the IFP forum under guard with our secret code (Dylan has the key and is open to bribes). The goal would be to get membership up to 185 by the end of the month.



Second Focus will be on new member Involvement- Snake is now 105 eYears old and collecting a state pension, John Gormley is living in a retirement home some where in Florida, my hide has turned grey and my spelling is getting worse, and Dylan is becoming respectable pillar of the community. We have started to become an older party and need new blood in the party core. I will appoint a VP who is new and try to get party officers who are new. I will not run for congress myself to give others the chance. I will measure our success in congress elections on how many first time congress members we get elected and not the total number. The goal would be to maintain 4 first time members elected to Dail next month. Want to get more involved in the party, send me a PM.



Third Area is updating our party positions- This is long over due, we just finished the Economic section last week. The goal would be by the end of the month to have a world class Wiki page we all agree on and are proud of. This work will continue and encourage more members on the party forum. Members only log on if there is something interesting to discus. So we will have to find things to talk about other then gossip about the latest fashion trends as JSK is always going on about.



Now it is a game, and I am the guy with the stupid looking cow as my aviator, so it should be fun. I will try to set up a couple of competitions, or better yet encourage others too, to celebrate our 2 year anavercity as the IFP. We have had some interesting history, as a party; let’s insure that that continues in the future, just with a little less scandal.
