Desde el nacimiento de las tres nuevas alianzas principales, hemos tenido días llenos de acción y movimiento. Muchas campañas, muchos ataques aéreos, acciones militares hasta hace poco muy impensadas. Hemos visto también como han funcionado (o no funcionado) las alianzas hasta este momento. Veamos:

ASTERIA. Sufrió el golpe más evidente con el retiro de Hungría. Las razones están en sus líos con Rumania, en el ataque chileno a los húngaros y en el NAP firmado entre Bulgaria y países fronterizos, el que no incluía a Hungría.

Así, tras el ataque chileno a Suiza, se pensó en un enfrentamiento directo e inmediato con Serbia, pero los europeos retrocedieron, cerrando frontera mientras Hungría buscaba su oportunidad extendiéndose hacia el oeste para buscar frontera con los sudamericanos. Mientras Chile y Hungría acomodaban sus posiciones para la acción y Chile lanzaba primero el NE, Polonia y Bulgaria se sumaron a las acciones, atacando también a Hungría. Tras un ultimátum a Rumania exigiendo que ese país lanzara el NE a Bulgaria, y su rechazo por parte de los rumanos, Hungría dejó finalmente la alianza.

Por otro lado, Grecia sufre una virtual guerra civil, en la que los llamados “terroristas”, partidarios pro Sirius, son contrarios a la línea oficial del gobierno heleno y luchan incluso contra aliados de Asteria como Serbia. Hoy lo que une a los griegos es el odio a MKD y que ninguno de los dos bandos lucha contra su propio país.

Finalmente, Argentina ha focalizado sus acciones en la guerra contra Brasil y España y en el mantenimiento de su base en Europa. El llamado Pacto Sudamericano asegura su frente en el subcontinente, a excepción de la activación intermitente del frente brasileño.

Los elementos anteriores producen que Asteria luzca paralizada y que el núcleo de la alianza (Ser/Slo) retroceda. En especial, porque cuando Aurora y Sirius trabajan juntos Asteria tiene menor daño potencial disponible, el cual por los conflictos mencionados ni siquiera logra ocuparse en su totalidad para formar un bloque.

SIRIUS. El frente brasileño ha sido hasta hoy la mayor derrota de Sirius. Brasil liberó una región original, lanzó un AS a Pakistán y atacó a Uruguay hasta borrarlo, mientras en paralelo Argentina estaba en guerra con España. Sin embargo, los brasileños fueron expulsados muy rápido de Pakistán, su intento de lanzar NE a Irán para ganar tiempo fue un fracaso, Uruguay se liberó y ayer, a pesar de los esfuerzos brasileños y españoles, cayó ante Argentina.

Mientras Croacia luchaba contra Serbia, España estuvo presente con Brasil. Pero no estuvieron masivamente USA, Polonia o Turquía. En estos momentos, con Serbia y Eslovenia en problemas y retrocediendo frente a Aurora, los intereses de los jugadores croatas están más alineados con los objetivos militares de Aurora que con los de Sirius.

Podemos ver que Sirius tiene mayor potencial que Asteria por su menor conflictividad interna, pero tiene el desafío de integrar a los turcos y de alinear a los ciudadanos de USA con los objetivos grupales de la alianza. Mientras Polonia avanza sobre Hungría, es previsible que un enfrentamiento directo polaco vs. serbio/slo podría alinear de mejor manera a los croatas con su propia alianza, lo que podría reafirmarse si deciden no renovar su MPP con China.

Por otro lado, Sirius sabe que Grecia puede cambiar de bando por lo que se blinda a los helenos. Esa posibilidad potenciaría a la alianza dándole plena independencia para enfrentar a Asteria sin necesidad de Aurora. Sin embargo, el precio de la entrada de Grecia a Sirius sería convertir a Aurora y Sirius en enemigos debido a MKD.

AURORA. La alianza se formó a partir de un grupo constituído por Chile, Bulgaria y MKD, tres países que en conjunto no podían tener cabida en Sirius o Asteria. La alianza, si bien se ha declarado independiente, ha estado alineada con parte de Sirius (Croacia, Polonia) en su enfrentamiento con Hungría/Eslovenia/Serbia y ha sido exitosa en esa tarea.

Chile, Paraguay, Irlanda y Macedonia han desarrollado ataques aéreos sobre Suiza, Austria, Eslovenia y Australia y los cuatro han aterrizado, a pesar de la pronta (y esperable) derrota paraguaya ante los húngaros. Macedonia logró congreso este mes después de ocho meses de estar borrada, gracias a un plan ejecutado por la alianza, que incluyó a Egipto y la liberación de territorio australiano por parte de Chile.

El principal problema de la alianza hasta este momento ha sido el problema entre Indonesia y Chile por Australia y por la guerra chileno-húngara. Ese problema fue generado principalmente debido al deseo indonesio de retener (recuperar para algunos de sus ciudadanos) parte de territorio australiano, en tanto Chile obtiene de ahí bonos y reservaba algunas regiones para MKD. El problema fue superado por un acuerdo entre los tres países.

La relación entre Aurora y Sirius parece estar basada principalmente por la amistad chileno-croata, en tanto Bulgaria y Croacia han firmado un MPP el que puede llegar a reforzar esa relación. Si bien existió una buena relación meses atrás, la relación Spoland-Chile es más reciente y también podría llegar a alinear a ambas alianzas.

Si bien Aurora no se declara proSirius, cabría preguntarse que enemigos tienen hoy los países de la alianza en Sirius, siendo en su mayoría, aliados mediante MPP. La relación entre Aurora y Asteria en cambio se basa en la enemistad hacia Serbia, Eslovenia y/o Hungría, con la excepción de los acuerdos de buena convivencia entre Argentina y Chile en Sudamérica.

Así, el panorama interno de las alianzas transcurre desde una mala situación para Asteria hasta un mejor clima interno para Aurora. Si bien la salida de Hungría le ahorra problemas a Asteria, ello la despotencia, necesitando un cambio en Grecia a su favor para un repunte. En Aurora en tanto la evolución del tema “Australia” podría generar algún ruido, así como una extensión de la campaña contra Hungría/Serbia, antiguos aliados indonesios. Sirius tiene a mano el desafío de alinearse internamente y la tentación griega, la que la podría convertirla en la alianza más fuerte pagando el precio del distanciamiento de AURORA.

Si uno buscara que elementos podrían patear el tablero y reordenar el panorama en las actuales alianzas, se pueden imaginar dos: la salida de Grecia de Asteria y el retiro de Indonesia de Aurora. Pero eso hasta ahora es e-Ciencia Ficción....tal cual lo era hace meses el MPP búlgaro-croata o un NAP y hasta un MPP entre Chile y Argentina.

Since the birth of the three new major alliances, we have had days full of action and movement. Many campaigns, many airstrikes and military actions thought to unthinkable until recently. We have also seen how alliances have (or have not) worked out so far. Let's see:

ASTERIA. They suffered the most obvious blow with the withdrawal of Hungary. The reasons rely in their trouble with Romania, in the Chilean attack to the Hungarians and the NAP signed between Bulgaria and neighboring countries, which did not include Hungary.

Thus, after the Chilean attack on Switzerland, everyone thought a direct and immediate confrontation with Serbia was going to take place, but the Europeans retreated, closing it’s border, while Hungary sought the opportunity to extend westward towards the border with South Americans. While Chile and Hungary accommodated their positions for battle and Chile launched the NE first, Poland and Bulgaria joined the action, also attacking Hungary. After an ultimatum to Romania requiring the country to launch the NE to Bulgaria, and its rejection by the Romanians, Hungary finally left the alliance.

Furthermore, Greece suffers a virtual civil war, in where the so-called " terrorists", supporters pro Sirius, are contrary to the official line of the Greek government and fight even against Asteria’s allies like Serbia. Today what unites the Greeks is the hatred towards MKD and that none of the two sides fighting against their own country.

Finally, Argentina has focused its actions in the war against Brazil and Spain and in maintaining its base in Europe. The so-called South American Covenant guarantees only one battlefront for Argentina (Europe), except for the intermittent activation of the Brazilian battlefront in South America.

All the above makes Asteria look paralyzed and that the core of the alliance (Ser/Slo) is receding. Especially because when Aurora and Sirius work together Asteria has less available potential damage, which by the above, does not even manage to be dealt entirely to form a block.

SIRIUS. The Brazilian has been, until now, the biggest defeat of Sirius. Brazil liberated an original region, launched an AS to Pakistan and attacked Uruguay until deleting it, while in parallel, Argentina was at war with Spain. However, the Brazilians were driven out from Pakistan too fast, their attempt to launch NE to Iran to buy time was a failure, and Uruguay was liberated and yesterday, despite their effort, Brazilians and Spaniards lost to Argentina.

While Serbia fought Croatia, Spain was supporting Brazil. But there was no massive support from USA, Poland and Turkey. Now, with Serbia and Slovenia in trouble and retreating against Aurora, the interests of the Croatian players are more aligned with the military objectives of Aurora than those of Sirius.

We can see that Sirius has more potential than Asteria because of less internal conflict, but has the challenge of integrating the Turks and align U.S. citizens with the objectives of the alliance. While Poland advances over Hungary, a direct confrontation between Polish and Serbians could align the Croats with their own alliance, which could be reaffirmed if they decide not to renew their MPP with China.

On the other hand , Sirius knows that Greece can change sides so they avoid to attack to the Hellenes. That possibility would enhance the partnership giving full independence to face Asteria without Aurora. However, the price of the entry of Greece to Sirius would turn Sirius and Aurora into enemies because MKD.

AURORA. The alliance was formed by a group constituted by Chile , Bulgaria and MKD, three countries that together could not be accommodated in Sirius nor Asteria. The alliance, although declared as neutral, has been aligned with a part of Sirius (Croatia, Poland) in its confrontation with Hungary / Slovenia / Serbia and has been successful in this task.

Chile, Paraguay, Ireland and Macedonia have developed air attacks on Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia and Australia and all four have landed , despite the early (and expected) defeat of Paraguay by the Hungarians. Macedonia managed to get Congress this month after eight months of being erased, thanks to a plan executed by the alliance, which included Egypt and the liberation of Australian territory from Chile.

The main problem with the alliance so far has been the problem between Indonesia and Chile because of Australia and by the Chilean - Hungarian war. The relationship between Aurora and Sirius seems to be based mainly on the Chilean- Croatian friendship, while Bulgaria and Croatia have signed an MPP that can reinforce that relationship. While there was a good relationship months ago, Spoland - Chile relationship is more recent and may also help to align both alliances.

Even though Aurora has not declared proSirius, the question of what enemies does the members of Sirius have now, being mostly allies by MPP, arise. The relationship between Aurora and Asteria in the other hand relies either in enmity toward Serbia, Slovenia and / or Hungary except for the conviviality agreements between Argentina and Chile in South America.

Thus, the inner landscape of alliances goes from a bad situation for Asteria to better internal climate for Aurora. While Hungary leaving Asteria saves the alliance some trouble, it weakens them, thus needing a change in Greece in his favor for a comeback. In Aurora, the evolution of the "Australia" problem might generate some noise, as well as an extension of the campaign against Hungary/Serbia, former Indonesian allies. Sirius has to the challenge of aligning internally and deal with the Greek temptation, which could make it the strongest alliance, but paying the price of distancing from AURORA.

If you look for elements that could turn the tables and rearrange the current alliances panorama, you can imagine two cases: Greece leaving Asteria and the withdrawal of Indonesia from Aurora. But that is so far eScience Fiction .... as it was months ago a Bulgarian - Croatian MPP or NAP and an MPP between Chile and Argentina.
