Gold: A Short Commentary

Gold. Everybody wants some more. And I have some good news in that I think, the worst is behind us. While there isn't an overabundance of gold, and there used to be the (long gone) days when 1 gold was worth about 200 PHP as opposed to about 1000 (which I never expect to change due to the shopping-bot), right now is better than the past.


Why?

2 Reasons.

#1 The admins have deemed fit to add extra missions from time to time that, typically, give experience, strength, or even sometimes (but more rarely) recently straight gold. For the most part, the strength boosts while fun are artificial because just about everybody gets them.

The only TRUE benefit to the erepublik populace as individuals is that extra strength gets you closer to your next super soldier medal, and therefore 5 gold. This creates more gold quicker through the medal system. The same can be said of experience points, which unfortunately only lead to 1 gold.

#2 Basically the same thing but not via missions, the daily rewards have been now updated so that if you work/train 5 days in a row, as all of you have seen, you get +5 strength. Again, super soldier medals quicker creating more gold flowing through our veins.



Overall the game is still gold-strapped (big shock, as they want people to buy it), but it is better than what has been previously marked.
