So I've been seeing so many giveaways, and how well-received they are. So I thought I'd do one too!
Until I realized that I didn't have a lot of stuff to give away.
And even if I wanted to, I couldn't.
A most convenient excuse
After a sip of tea, I decided that I could give away something better than tanks.
I could give thanks. Or more accurately, compliments.
I mean, you could pick up tanks in the market anytime you wanted. Well, if you had money. But you don't really have any place to get some good ol' fashioned appreciation in this game.
While I realize that thanks don't exactly do as much damage as tanks in this game, you can't ignore that increased self-esteem will boost your performance in battle. There is anecdotal evidence that, after receiving a compliment, an eCitizen delivers (on average) a little bit more damage than usual.
Proven by science.
Consider the following scenario:
Now obviously, Rupert Grint's self-esteem took a bit of a hit on that one, and it is highly likely that he would underperform when playing eRepublik later on in the day.
Unless...
So I'm really performing a public service here, and what I'm offering is better than tanks.

Well, a lot, I guess.
Member of Congress with UK's best party (IMO), Captain in the Royal Navy, and editor of Norse News (a great paper), which is one of the reasons that I started a paper myself and stopped dealing hard drugs.
Also, you were one of my first friends, and one of the first people to give me money for what I wrote, which encouraged me to write more and stop dealing hard drugs.
In short, gali2332 saved me from a life of dealing hard drugs and recruited me into the eReality that is the eUK and eRepublik... so I can't eThank you eNough!

Yes, eRep is well known for keeping people out of hard drugs, this is because it has the same effects but it's legal.
