EVEL

So EVEL is passed in parliament. If you were unsure that democracy existed or not, this is a clear indication to the absolute death of democracy. Scotland's 56 MPs are now rendered mute on anything that involves the United Kingdom. Scotland has no say whatsoever on what happens in the United Kingdom. Do you consider this to be a union of nations when only one nation (England) get's to control the others, no. It's a dictatorship by proxy. And you all voted for this. #indy2 #fuckoffgammeron #YES2 #YesScotland

Okay, tbf; it isn't factually true to say that Scotland can't vote on anything that concerns the UK- issues that concern the whole UK would go through as before.
But, to me its just a botched solution put in place by the tories to award themselves more power over English laws and an inbuilt majority on them. Similarly, Labour oppose the measure on purely political grounds and so it gets us nowhere.
What we need is a comprehensive system of full devolution, to Scotland, Wales, NI and seven english regions- all with approx the same population. An English Parliament would not solve it; we need the same amount of devolution to an effective level as Scotland has.
This reminds of former Yugoslavia, Scotland being like Croatia, always complaining like a little girl that everything is being controlled by Serbia, in Scotland's case England...The difference, you probably won't start killing each other 🙂
Clearly you have not been to glasgow 😛

😁 This sort of stuff make me laugh
I watched that episode, I remember a guy talking how it is better for him not to work and receive benefits, so when they call him for work he always writes on the application that he was in prison, so he definitely won't get the job 😃
