Being an ambassador I'm stuck with some interesting tasks, but also boring ones. Among other things it's all about reports about things happening in the country, be it political, economic, social or military. As the game hasn't really produced a nice model for politics, having to write about it is rather boring and uneventful.



Luckily the Americans are providing a bit of flare here, though not by their own wishes or fault. The PTO struggle has been going on for some time now and it proves that even a big country like the eUSA isn't really safe against this phenomenon. I know that nobody likes to read articles within articles, so I'll just borrow a few images from other people to show a bit of history. This first image represents the percentage of votes at presidential elections:



The second is the movement of the people right before the Congress elections:



As you can probably see by yourself, this is a massive operation that involves a lot of people. And it has been going on for months...
Now that the December Congress elections are finished and Unity got 67% of the votes it seems like not much has changed as the percentage is more or less the same as during the November voting. Taking into consideration that December voting happens on Christmas when most real life Americans choose to not log into this game, I'd simply say well done.

The part that's more interesting to me is eUSA foreign policy. In order to give you a glimpse at that, please find below a short interview with current eUSA MoFA Israel Stevens.



P: Hello how are you today?
IS: I'm well. Drunk, and happy.

P: What is the general feeling in eUSA, are people happy?
IS: We're ok. We're dealing with a major PTO, and that is taking it's toll on people.

P: What would you like to change?
IS: I would like to get the PTO removed from our country.

P: Could you please give us a bit of an overview about the relations with your eNeighbors?
IS: We're pretty much neutral with both of our neighbors. We're getting to be on better terms with Mexico. We've hit for them against Columbia, and they've hit for us against Taiwan. Canada is meh.

P: Do you think that the ATO operation is having good results?
IS: They're ok. We're sort of holding the line. Not making any progress, but not regressing either.

P: Any chance of dealing with eSerbia through diplomacy?
IS: Nope.

P: eUSA is going towards CoT, what made you leave the path of neutrality?
IS: We see the need to stabilize our relations, and feel that the principles that CoT is founded upon might make a good home for us.

P: Do you have any opinion about eMacedonia and if yes, what would it be?
IS: Macedonia is becoming one of the USA's better friends. They have helped with the ATO of our country by pulling their people out of the AFA and the USA in general. We greatly appreciate that.

P: Would you think of signing an alliance with eMacedonia and why yes or why not?
IS: There are a variety of factors to consider. Two of the primary being our relationship with both Albania and Greece. It's not a simple answer.

P: What about economic relations, exporting and importing goods between the two eCountries?
IS: The whole economy of eRepublik is messed up. As long as we don't have an embargo against your country, it's as good as it's going to get.

P: Have you ever lived in eMacedonia and would you consider living there in the future?
IS: I haven't. I'm pretty attached to USA, so we'll see.

P: Anything else you would like to add?
