eNorwegian Economy - Analysis
Major Lee Hung
We all know that having a strong economy is rarely achievable with a small country. As previously stated, I've recently returned to activity and my focus has been on my companies. I've struggled to sell my products however due to weak domestic demand - subsequently forcing eNorway's Q7 tank prices to the lowest in the world as supply completely outweighs demand.
I've decided to do an in depth look at the state of our economy, the first step to understanding how we might improve it.
Economic Activity
These numbers are based on our tax receipts, then extrapolated to take occupied regions in to consideration. They're approximate but shouldn't' be far off the true numbers.
Average Daily Domestic Spen
😛$20.6k
Average Companies Being Worked (daily): 409
Employees (average equivalent): 120
Employment is fairly strong, though overall this only has a bearing on our tax receipts; an average of $2.02 per employee per day. Companies worked as manager per day is fairly weak at an average of 4 companies per citizen per day. Each citizen is therefore generating an average of $7.58 in taxes a day from Work as Manager.
The highlight however should be domestic market activity - indicative of the amount of money circulating in our economy. On average, we spend $188.99 each per day in Norway. This means that every day, our economy is losing out on around $2k which presumably either goes abroad or sits in people's accounts. Unless we're exporting a lot, this indicates a shrinking economy.
So How do we Improve?
Some of these ideas could be fairly radical, but how many are workable?
Overall we're limited in what we can do to improve our economy, but we can certainly try if anybody is up to the challenge. The key solution is to invest to spur on the growth we need to see. We can't grow our economy without first investing in it - our trade deficit would indicate we're a nation of fighters and have no economic base to back it.

The problem is not the earnings but the spending. Bring nice fresh idea on the table and you will be surprised to see how many vaults it can open. Any useless Combat Order in TW? NO!!! Compensation of "2click-today-die-tomorrow" players? NO!!! What else!? This is the biggest problem of this game now.
Spending in eNoway is certainly far too low for us to hope to have a strong base of production. Undercutting the rest of the world isn't working anymore.
No. I mean other kind of spending. WHY do we need money!? Is there interesting project that the community wants to build or develop?
I don't feel any motivation to donate into this game anymore. I don't know where to spend what already earned.
Very great analysis. I like your idea about subsidies for creating raws, as that is something I think our current government could accomplish easily enough while having a beneficial impact.
Government subsidies on export licences is also a great idea but Im not sure if its as plausible. If we don't have enough people buying on our market now than it wont attract people in other countries to do so. However we could offer say a 50% subsidy to anyone who buys a Norwegian market licence say and that in itself would draw investment.
Also, your very last point is a great idea as well!
If we look to other countries economical bars, we do see that work as managers is the most valuable and main incomes. It meens they do their productions in their home country. Which means, they do keep their holdings at home. Not as many of us do so, we have our holdings abroad, and still call it enorwegians (me too unfortunally – I do have one abroad). That is an devastating attitude ant myth (also among trusted and reputable players) which I want to persuade!
Well some said, it`s useless, our regions are occupied in training wars. I want to persuade that myth too. We do have TW free zones, where the economy has all the possibility to thrive. Hopefully, in long turn, we will develop even more economical free zones.
So the best all of us can do, and my wish is: keep the most of, or at least some of, your production inside eNorwegian borders! That will make a big growth for your country, in my opinion! Last month we did have a growth of 33% only because of “small” efforts in eNorwegian house market.
What growth could we achieve if everybody moved at least one holdings content/production back to eNorway? I do see a big potential in that effort!
And I, myself, have started today!
🙂
And thank you Major, for an excellent article! I am glad for the focus on developing our economy1 🙂
