Egyptian Forces Strike!

Day 2,785, 19:37 Published in Israel Argentina by Yosef Tzvi

Today, as IDF forces began their advance against the Egyptian-held Tel Aviv Yaffo metropolitan area, Egyptian and allied forces launched a counterattack against Israeli targets across Southern Israel.

Egyptian warplanes have bombed Ashkelon, Gaza, Be'er Sheva and Dimona. An Egyptian strike against Eilat was thwarted due to intelligence and advanced ground to air missile defense systems.

Sirens have been sounding in southern cities as rockets, missiles, planes and tanks bombard the region. Tens of thousands have fled south to the port city of Eilat. Defensive measures are being set up known as the Dimona Perimter with another surrounding Eilat in order to maximize potential for defense and keeping Egyptian forces from taking the Negev region once again. The Israeli Cabinet is currently coordinating all defensive and offensive measures from within a bunker within the city of Be'er Sheva.

Newly elected President RoaiTG was quoted as saying: "We shall stay in this city as long as we can, we shall not abandon it prematurely to invading barbarians!"

The Magen David Adom services are running stretched with burnout and exhaustion. Volunteers are urged to take part in treating wounded and helping arrange housing for those who have lost their homes due to needing to flee or having had them destroyed in missile or bombing attacks. Homeless refugees are being housed in gymnasiums and hospitals are overloaded as well as heavily damaged. The Be'er Sheva Hospital is running at 57% power.

We ask that you hold on with us at this time.
