DSS apologizes: Dear Congress, SFP and the American people

Introduction
Before I apologize, let's have a talk. My name is Josh Whitehead, or better known as Dirty Scarlet Silverbeard. Either name is very well known in eUSA, eSA and other parts of eRepublik.

Military noob, media whore, political whore and outspoken player. When I feel something is right, I speak up. When I feel something isn't right, I speak up.

When I returned in early December of 2015, I JUMPED RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A WAR. Like totally jumped into it. No clothes on, not even a chance to put on my pirate hat. The Pro-Dictators vs. the Anti-Dictators were thrashing at each other with regard to what kind of leadership our country should have. I put myself into the spotlight of all this.

The Congressmen before me or my current class of December went to a discussion without hearing from the public first, in regard to;

“Should we make it against the eLaw for anyone, and we mean anyone to fight (revolt) against their own nation?”. It sounded like a personal agenda to me, to protect their own seats and hopefully run POTUS candidates of their same bodily fluids.



Congress talked and talked and then voted. It barely passed by 67%. It doesn't matter if it “won by a margin”. Plato, himself, introduced this new gaming module to allow a governing party or persons to revolt on something they do not agree on. A chance where, let's say eSouth Africa was PTOed as a whole, to turn their nation around.

However, eUSA is a MUCH larger country with a governing body. We literally have the manpower to take our country back from those who threaten our nation for personal agendas or yadda yadda.

However, we cannot save ourselves, apparently. I was VP of eUSA until the previous Congress pressured Gnilraps.

Many who are currently in Congress know I'm blacklisted because I was one of 24 people who revolted against a governing body of people. Apparently I can't do that, because Congress said so, and it’s written.

I do not agree. I am not a traitor, I’m a freedom fighter. I am a minute men. I am an eUSA citizen who is angry at his own failing Government.



Ok, here it is what you have all been waiting for

I am a HUGE contributor in this whole fiasco. I am a proud member of SFP, Bear Calvary and now Congress. All eyes have been on me lately.

I am blacklisted. I am the center of attention because SFP ran me. SFP held a democratic vote in the SFP forums and I swept into 10th place. SFP has a Constitution as well. I follow it, along with SFP. I rightfully won. However, I did not follow the forums laws.

You know what… I am. I am the Sith Lord in all this. I am sorry that this whole fiasco has arisen in Congress and that I apologize for that. But I do not regret my action taken against the Dictatorship, and I believe my fellow SFP should not, either. Anyone who revolts against their Government because they are fed up, should not apologize, either. Law or no law.

I ran a Congressional campaign of “For the people” and I am sticking to it.



I am a firm believer in the voice of the people. I put the people first before anything. I am going to defy those who do not agree with “the voice of the people”.

However, I am really really sorry that things have flared up, but ya know what? You may not like hearing it, but it is what it is. Josh knows what’s up, the people know what’s up.

SFP places its loyalty in not just its Party members, but in the people, and the nation. This is why SFP has GROWN in numbers in recent time. But it’s not about being #1, 2, 3 or whatever, that ranking only shows the growing support for the ideals the SFP stands for. It’s about representing the true will of the people, and when necessary fighting for it.




This presents what is known as a “Catch-22” situation. That’s when there’s a rule which prevents fixing a problem. You can’t find your glasses without your glasses. You can’t find the light switch in the dark. And you can’t fight tyranny without breaking the laws the tyrants make up.


Things are changing around here and for the better. Everything I have campaigned for, is not for personal agendas or for personal gain. This is for our nation, as a whole. We stick together, we fight together and we work together. Does not matter what party you are in. We are all Americans, one America, United we stand.

I hope my fellow Congressmen, may it be behind closed doors or for the world to see. Talk about unblacklisting me and many others who are fighting for the good will. It's completely inhumane and does not justify anything other than a “it's not fair, but it is the law of the land”.

Because if they (this current group who are hostile) want to keep dragging this on, drag me down with it. Man the poop decks, we're going in for a bumpy ride. I will ride this rage until things change fairly and for everyone.

PTO threat
SFP, we are now being threatened of being PTOed, against our own nation. Or, against a group of people who are starting to become paranoid and scared that their power is slowly fading away. So, they have to incite fear and propaganda to reassure the public that “we’re the bad people,” and throw the attention on something else other than themselves.

Precedent has shown that the official stance of the eUS government is that it will not involve itself in Political Takeover of a Party unless that Party is declared a clear and present danger to national security. The government will also not protect a Party, or Anti-Takeover, unless it is under threat by a known national threat. This status, has, in every past instance, been reserved for Ajay Bruno (in various incarnations) who has openly imported voting agents from our eternal enemy, Serbia, and has blatantly expressed desire to turn our nation over to them after cleaning out the till for himself.




Now we have a group of elected Congressmen openly discussing the option of PTO’ing the SFP as punitive action for defying Congressional decree. They have engaged this discussion in the Public Congress forum thread originally opened for the discussion regarding repealing the Blacklist of those previously sanctioned for their participation in last month’s Anti-Dictatorship action. They have effectively declared the SFP to represent a national threat, and use their positions of power and authority to push an agenda to suppress the dissenting voice of America.

Congress, without me (a fellow Congressmen) or the people involved, are talking about creating a new “law” that;

“Gives them the ability to annex a party, that does not agree with them”. This basically means that you are not only allowed to not fight against your government, but you cannot speak up. Again, this is everything I have campaigned against. You should too.



Something smells, here, and it ain’t fish. Abuse of the public trust under the badge of authority, that’s what stinks.


All in all

Case point; I am sorry for any harm or disorder I have brought to Congress, to the people, and to my Party.

Case point; I am not sorry for standing up for what I believe. I am not sorry that I got voted into Congress. I am not sorry I defied the meta law of Revolting. I am not sorry I have the same ideology as fellow members of SFP, BSP or anyone else. I am not sorry I am outspoken.

I will continue to run for Congress each month if I am able to, if RL does not kick in OR SFP is like “naw, we hate you now.” Or any other circumstance, because why not? I earned my votes, and you can too.
