Don’t feed the trolls.

Release The Krakken and Viktor Kurgan have received a lot of attention in the media recently and it’s a shame to see that our community has been driven to a new low by these low life trolls. I’ve played this game for four years and I’ve met many trolls worse trolls than RTK and Viktor.

The best course of action to take against trolls is to ignore them. It requires discipline and tolerance to acquire this level of skill as trolls only seek attention and when they receive it they will either spam or harass you.

Simple steps on how to deal with trolls:

• Ignore the posts.
A troll’s goal is make users angry and by responding to their post’s you are feeding the troll.

• Compliment the troll.
This may seem weird but trolls will be thrown off balance if you give them a simple compliment.

• Report them.
If the trolling continues then just report them to the admins and let them deal with them. This might not have a good success rate in eRepublik as they are usually headless chickens dealing with these cases. But there is no harm in reporting them.

• Stop responding to them.
Just keep your sanity and sense of humour intact and don’t get angry.

Pretty simple right? Trolls love attention and they enjoy receiving angry replies so don’t feed the troll. If you feel someone is a victim to trolling private message them encouraging them to ignore the said troll.

Now as we’ve seen Bhane leave the game Viktor and RTK are convinced they have won but don’t let them fool you as they have won nothing. They will continue to spam the media to spread their malicious messages and what do you do? Simple, ignore the article and follow the steps above.
