I am still not convinced Dictatorship is as effective as the proponents suggest. While it moves us £ 400,000 from a coup, you need to question why our allies will not move troops into our MoD MU if needed.
If we are to pursue this insane cop out dictatorship then we need to clearly define the rules by which they govern.
1) The MoD MU (or more practically Presidency of the UK/Monarchy of the UK MU) wins the coup.
2) The elected President become MU commander.
3) All laws must pass Congress muster before getting a Yes vote.
4) Any dictator who violates this is impeached as CP and hands the reigns over to the next CP.
This was all covered and agreed to by Congress but shot down by the current regime. Firstly, the coup was begun in a non-government MU without consent. People were confused and it succeeded, erring on the side of caution.
Then, the Dictator refused to hand command of the MU to the CP. It would not have been an issue if the correct MU were used. But he didn't and now we have an intractable position.
Now the Dictator passes laws before they are even discussed or agreed upon. We have lost our democracy. The ruse is revealed. Fear has been used to enslave the UK.
Time to enforce our will one way or the other. End the farce now.
The best solution remains not having a dictator. Any war an external force brings we can successfully face with allies and combat orders. Losing an accountable participative government is not worth giving into fear.
Because fear is exactly what is ruling this insane government.

So the Executive is now answerable to only the Dictator? When did we agree to that? Where is the legislature in all this? Why are laws passed before even being proposed to Congress?
Dunno what things you've been talking about. Laws proposed now were debated with Congressmen over a week ago. Maybe Huey hasn't pasted or started in all of his mail but he sure was present.

Say it all about your position on the electoral system, really. 40 voices haggling is better than one dictating. You just happen to agree with the current tyrant, but I bet your tune changes when you don't. Why wait for the inevitable?

You are almost certainly right about the above, but for as long as the majority agree with the general decisions then nothing will happen. While the majority agrees with the decisions you could argue that he is genuinely reflecting the view of the "country". Of course there will be the vocal minority who believe they represent the majority.
Naturally, once the majority of the country don't agree with him then things will happen. Wayne (or anyone else), as dictator has not run its natural course yet and at some point the dictator will need to be brought down. The timing is probably not now.
A lot of the anti-dictator argument is loosely around the "you wouldn't want to live under a dictator in real life so why would you in eRepublik" angle or "Wayne is DC and they are all evil". Maybe some of the risk of PTO has been overstated, but dismissing it completely is nonsense. You only have to look around the eWorld to appreciate a lot of countries see constitution dictators as a viable defence. You might not like Wayne (which is different from the merits or not of a dictator) but the majority of counties have taken the same general political decision to have one.
Do not read my opposition to the Dictator as opposition to WayneKerr. He seems competent enough with a mischievous streak to keep him interesting. We have had far worse. But, he is not accountable. He has already given several cues that he is king.
I really do not want to wait for a crisis to try extricate us from a monarch.

1 The current dictator was given role not voting in or even won it though battles
2 The current dictator didn't hand over the role to the New CP in the election

I hope you realise that Popovic has jumped between many MU's in his time. He's been in and out of FBI quite a few times in the past. Sometimes for quite a while.
Guys, the governance vote passed and has been publicly viewable for days now. If you really feel that aggrieved, get the support of the MUs and start a revolution (as is specified in the bill)

I really see no reason for people to be upset other than the fact they are jealous they are not dictator. The system is working. We have the most knowledgable and active people working hard for the good of the eUK. If you want to get involved in making these decisions or seeing what is going on behind the scenes then contact them and get involved and stop whining
This is involvement. I care enough about the rule of law to do something about it.

I think it is about giving a mandate in showing the decision to start a civil war is supported by the country rather than a rogue MU starting what they see as a rightous war. If a vote to impeach is successful and the dictator doesn't pass over the position to the elected representative then any military action will be seen as legal.
