Day 3 - Viva La Resistance!!

Day 3

North America
Victory! Finally, Allied forces were able to retake regions held by ONE forces. New Mexico was liberated from Mexican occupiers, as Seal Team 6 and the American Military worked to free the region. This is a solid victory for the USA, as it severs the Mexican regions in the Mid West from their capital in Mexico, meaning that economically, they are useless. We should expect to see Mexico try and retake New Mexico, to reestablish the land bridge.
However, it was not all good. Missouri and Kentucky both fell. Routed by Mexico, and Spain (respectively). The loss of Kentucky means that the Oil fields of Illinois are within reach of the Spanish military. And as a result, Spain attacked the region shortly after securing Kentucky. But America has rallied, and is holding the line in Illinois. Although still losing, things look promising, as America is entering her prime time.

Possible Mexican Counterattacks

South America
Little to report on this front. As expected, Spain routed the Brazilian defenders on the Canary Islands, but has run into a brick wall while trying to sack North of Brazil. The Brazilians have yet to lose a round.
This is what we have seen before. Brazil has limited success against Spain while on the offensive, but is able to dominate them, when defending their home regions.

Western Europe
As expected, France was wiped from the map yesterday. This is promising news for France, because it closes all active wars for the nation. France has already returned to the map, winning resistance wars against Spain and the Republic of Macedonia. France should have an easier time liberating their regions via Resistance war, then trying to take on Spain and Poland head to head.
Germany has been reduced to one region, but Belgium has halted their advance. Whether Belgium or Poland intends to wipe Germany remains to be seen. It is possible that they will hold off, so as to keep open wars with the German state. It should be noted that a resistance war in the region of Saxony, would be devastating to the Polish Empire. It would severe Poland's holdings in France and Germany, from the Polish Capital.

France returns, Germany is a speck. Possible Saxony RW is marked.

Overall Analysis
A much more hopeful day for Terra. The victory in New Mexico, the probable victory in North of Brazil and a possible win in Illinois means that the Alliance may finally be starting to come together. Hopefully, we will continue to see victories, so that the morale improves.
France's wiping is actually great news. Now Spain or Poland will have to pay to open a war, if they want to wipe the nation again. It is doubtful that they will declare France Natural Enemy, because Spain is embattled in North America, and Poland probably won't because France currently only occupies 2 regions.
The immediate future of this war will be decided by Poland. Wherever they send their forces, will probably secure victory for ONE.
