q1 food= 1.67 GRD.
minimum wage shouldnt be lower.
dwste xrhma ston lao... 😃
I voted YES to this. With the increase in value of the GRD and the sharp drop in food prices, it only makes sense that the minimum wage also drops. Let's not forget that new players automatically start with 10GRD, which should allow them to buy Q1 food for the first few days until they reach Level 2 skill and can start fighting to increase their wellness. Remember, players with low wellness produce very little. It doesn't make sense for employers to pay employees high wages when they can't produce enough to offset their own wages.
Skill 0 always work for a loss but they receive 10 grd citizen fee, which is equal to .20 gold
Haralambos, better decrease citizen fee from 10 to 5 GRD , and dont decrease the minimum wage so much. It is dangerous for new players!
I believe new players can see that they can attain a higher wage by increasing their skill. This made me strive to work everyday so I can get paid more.
I voted no because it doesnt make sense to give 1 grd to a player while the q1 food cot about 1,7 . It is not logic. if it was betwee to 2-2,5 grd i d vote yes. And it can potentially be a drawback. Why make companies profitabe in the short term, and not both companies and workers satisfied in the mid and long term? That is my arguement
@TerminatorGR: Lowering the citizen fee won't relieve the burden of negative Return on Investment (ROI) for the employers.
For example, I am a Q1 Food company owner.
- It costs me 1GRD to buy Q1 grain. A little less if I buy Q2/Q3.
- I sell my Q1 food for 1.66GRD, which new players can afford because of the citizen fee.
- My revenue is .66GRD per food that I need to use to buy more grain stock, pay my employees, and, possibly, make some kind of profit.
- It costs me 2.9GRD for a Skill 0 employee to produce .5-1 food (depending on the productivity of the company).
- In this example, 2.24GRD of the wages I am paying will not see an even return, let alone some kind of profit, which means I have to take a 2.24GRD loss for the first few days until that worker's skill increases.
- That means I stop hiring Skill 0 employees and we have a job shortage like we had a few days ago, which is worse for the new players. It's better to have a choice of jobs in all markets for low wages, than to have no jobs.
