Canadian Progressive Front President Candidate *EDIT*
The Governor IV
For those of you part of the CPF you may have realized Funky has decided not to run this month. Maybe he is retiring, maybe he is just passing on to new great things, but one thing is clear, the spot is open for grabs.
You may look at my profile and see that I have just recently joined in June, however I am not new to the game. I was a citizen of Canada (not very active on the forums, or anything outside of the game itself) I remember the dark days of our occupation by france and Hungary. I remember the invasion of the North America by Pheonix powers. But that is beside the point. The party started out as a small one and grew to great power before it became a chaotic mess.
Funky Hum24n, Aeriala, SaraDroz, and Wilhelm Gunter brought the party back to life, and revived it. These are the big names to live up to. I may not have a fancy congressional medal like some of my other opponents do, I may not be as strong as my other opponents are, and I may not be as high up in terms of experience points as they are. However I can live up to the potential of thos great men and women who made the party what it is today.
With the 9th election of Jacobi, and the revival of Canadian activity, I say the CPF under my leadership and Jacobi's nomination could strive and help Canada become a better place.
I do not have any promises to make you, or any goals to share with you, because I believe in neither. If I fail to keep a promise I failed you, therefore ending in my resignation. With no promises nothing major can happen, on experience and the will power to continue and learn, the party will strive. With no goals, there will be no end to my work with you, and among you. For if I have no goals, I cannot accomplish a single thing, but can accomplish many.
Vote for me tomorrow, and I guarantee it'll be a vote for greatness.
Good luck Auk Rest, and to any of those who decide to last minute campaign.
V for G.
EDIT**
My plans as requested by crisfire, are as follows:
1. Expand the party.
-Through the use of Advertisements
-Sending Broadcast messages in game to people about our ideas and of our
future role with Canada
2. Increase activity among party members
-through the use of designated Question and Answer periods in game
-in game activity where we get people to lead to new faces to greatness
-Weekly get togethers in game where we can all have a chat about Canadian
politics, CPF issues and other worldly problems
- Continuously work along side Jacobi for the benefit of all eCanadians
3. Increase the amount of presence in Congress
4. Attempt to get CPF as Head of State for another month
5. Work closely with other political parties for the betterment of Canada
6. Keep true to our history and look towards our future 🙂

Good luck!
Indeed.
Best of luck to you Generaljacob!
You are still too young...
Funky, I really hope you know what you are doing...
I dont really understand the no promise or no goal part but can either you or your competition share some ideas at least
General Jacob for CPF president
Thx for the edit, really better.
Merci pour la révision, beaucoup mieux.
Thank you very much all of you, your support is appreciated 🙂 I apologize for any grammar errors, i had been up for nearly 48 hours when I wrote this 😛
Epic platform, gl gjacob
Thank-you Plugson, means a lot
"With no promises nothing major can happen,"
I think personally that's a bad way to platform, but good luck to you.
P.s. erepublik hates smilies lol
Cpf had its day and Epic was a good party, too. Elections should be interesting
"Epic platform, gl gjacob"
...
Dal platform or Moo platform just didnt have the same ring to it, funky. You know how it goes after being here for long enough.
Oh, I guess I read that the wrong way. Epic was a good party but I'm for the continuation of CPF. Sorry to those who thought otherwise. All I really plan on doing is expanding ourselves and becoming a more interactive party
You may one day prove to be a good CPF PP (or another party PP) but my support goes to Auk. You're just too young imo.
i should explain my comments above, i suppose, since funky asked that i help maintain the 7 tenets. What separated cpf from dal and epic were 7 principles that were meant to direct party policy and activity. Dal and epic had a distinct lack of that, and so do most platforms and current activity by cpf candidates.
As the party grows, it is hard to keep this vision on track. Addy also experienced this with moo. Perhaps it is the natural cycle of tenet-based parties.
Not too late to renew the 7
"As the party grows, it is hard to keep this vision on track. Addy also experienced this with moo. Perhaps it is the natural cycle of tenet-based parties."
I think this is easily explained by the fact that the majority of players in a large party are not there for the tenets. I would bet most wouldn't be able to name them off by hand. They're there for the mechanics of a large party - getting elected, and having influence.
