Canadian Armed Forces: Strength and Influence

Hey eCanada!

Over the month of November, I took it upon myself, to monitor and record the progress (in terms of strength, and influence) of every single Canadian Armed Forces member; and to then transform that raw data into a neatly organized chart. The intent of this "data collection", was to do 2 things:

First, it was to show the Canadian Armed Forces themselves, what they have accomplished, and how they compare to each other, in terms of different criteria. Second, it was to show you guys, the eCanadian Body, just what the Canadian Armed Forced are made of, and to show, that you are truly joining a force to be reckoned with, when you join the Canadian Armed forces!

So without further adieu, I present to you 2 of my key criteria that I researched and organized (CAF Rank Points/Influence Breakdown and CAF Strength Breakdown)!

PART 1: CAF Total "Rank Points"/Influence Breakdown

For those who do not know, the Canadian Armed Forces is broken down into a total of 10 different divisions. High command (which consists of anyone rank CAPTAIN and higher), a CAF Reserve (R) and CAF Mobile (M) of each weapon type (air unit, tank unit, artillery unit, infantry unit - totaling 8 sections), and our Rangers; all of these groups have been tallied in the chart above.

So let's take a look at a few interesting facts, shall we?

First of all (and probably the most apparent), our most INFLUENTIAL fighting group, is our Mobile Tank Force - whom have a total of just over 25% of the ENTIRE CAF INFLUENCE COUNT. That is, by far, an amazing feat for a group of 3 platoons - to have a total influence count of 5,074,000 total "rank points"! Amazing!

Second of all, (and also somewhat apparent), our next most influential fighting group, is our Mobile Air Force - whom have just over 20% of the total CAF's INFLUENCE (rank point) count, at just under 4 million rank points (3,970,000).

Another amazing point, is how strong our RANGERS are! The rangers is basically, our CAF training divison - which means, most of the soldiers within start off at little or no rank points and influence. However, after only one month, the CAF rangers, have managed to accumulate enough rank points, to total just over 9% of our overall CAF Rank Points! Another excellent feat! This just goes to show, how strong and powerful we can train you guys to be!

Fourth, some more interesting facts about each division (Rangers, Reserves, and Mobiles, as a whole). In total, the "RANGERS" have gotten 1,791,000 Rank Points, making them a "Field Marshal*". The "RESERVES" have gotten 3,812,000, enough to make them a "Supreme Marshal**". Thirdly, the "REGULARS" have 11,278,000 Rank Points, making them a "National Force***"!

Lastly, I wish to point out one more interesting fact! The overall CAF Rank Point/Influence count! Overall, with every Canadian Armed Forces member counted - the CAF has amassed a whopping 19,632,000 Rank Points! That is enough to gain us the rank of WORLD CLASS FORCE**!

PART 2: CAF Total Strength Breakdown

The second criteria I chose to monitor, is the total Strength of the Canadian Armed forces (or, to be more specific, find out how many people are in each strength bracket), and the results were quite interesting.

The first point I wish to bring up, is the fact, that the CAF's majority of members, are around the 100-800 strength range; yet, when you compare that to the other chart, you'll notice that the CAF has over 19,000,000 rank points/influnce. It is quite interesting to see, that even though the CAF has some "newer" players (below 500 strength), that we are still able to, in the end, pull off some big numbers! That's what supplies and co-ordination will do for you!

Next, and this is mainly for new players considering joining the CAF. Some of you younger players, may think that the CAF is only for stronger, more powerful players; and that you need to be a 1000 strength tank to join. Well, let me tell you, THAT IS 100% FALSE! As you can see from the chart, anyone is able to join the Canadian Armed Forces! We will not judge you, based on your total strength (since, as the chart says, we have members as low as 100, and 200 strength). Anyone, and everyone... from any strength group.. is welcome to join!

Hopefully this analysis and breakdown of some key points of the CAF, has shown you, eCanada, truly what we are made of, and ow powerful we really are!

If you are interested in joining the CAF, then I encourage you to sign-up on the eCanadian forums!

Until then,
Good Hunting!
