CAF Japan War Stories
Canadian National Defense
CAF member Sir Arthur William Currie (AKA SAWC) wrote a story about the recent war with Japan! Behold!
''A few officers were sitting around the CAF war room where they were discussing how to effectively destroy the Japanese. AMM was sipping on a pina colada (typical AMM behaviour), General Cozza was eating a kebab(typical Aussie). The invasion was planed for first light. We were going to take the region of Hokkaido, Japan's second largest island. We had our Navy stationed around the island bombarding them for an entire day and night before we mounted the invasion. Cozza had decided we would move in a collective force, moving as one formation to overwhelm the enemy. Around 5:00 AM we were woken up by some drunken TCO who were coming to raid our camp for some food and beer. We threw em in the brig to sober them up and to make sure we got all the glory and babes.
Shortly after we had locked them up the invasion alarms went off and we launched our landing craft into the water. We anticipated heavy resistance so we sent in our tanks and helicopters ahead of the infantry and artillery. As the tanks hit the beach they noticed there was no resistance in sight. We all regrouped on the beachhead. No Japs to be seen in sight, Our helicopters reported a strange sighting in the middle of the island. As we came closer it really started to smell rotten. And then we saw it, the Japanese had destroyed all the precious RAMEN AND SUSHI!!!!!! It was all laying out in the sun rotting away. We sat there wondering why we had came all this way only to find ourself's hungry and out of luck. Now we were really ticked off. Japan will pay for their crimes. They will bring us sushi or we will continue to occupy them for eternity.''
That we will.
