CAF General’s Address: An Era of Changes

Almost 2 weeks after coming back as Treasury Manager for a second time, CAF High Command promotes me (JFstpierre) to the highest position in CAF: I’m the new CAF General starting today! It’s not the first time I have an eye on this job, I have to admit, but I hope I can do my best for the Canadian Armed Forces and for Canada!



A new General means obviously musical chairs in the High Command!

Chochi, current Deputy Treasury Manager and Stormtroopers Commanding Officer, is promoted as Lieutenant-General and becomes our new CAF Executive Officer and my closest teammate. Chochi and I will work closely; communication and agreement are our keywords.

Lieutenant-General osbornm, current CAF Executive Officer, becomes Chief of Regiments, a new position I hereby create. This job is the ingame equivalent of the Division Commanding Officer. He will be the main one dealing with captains, including communication, battle orders and priorities, managing captain elections and will work closely with the Chief Personal Management Officer (PMO) on ingame membership management and distribution.

I also promote a new member in the High Command. Welcome Pine_JR who becomes our new Deputy Treasury Manager! I’ll stay as Treasury Manager until he’s trained enough to take over.

CAF now and tomorrow

I’ll be very honest. I believe CAF has stood on status quo since a few months. It lazed long enough and it needs to change.

There are a few reforms and projects we discussed since a few weeks, including a restructuring (project called Hive Live²), the return of the Communes (oh yeah!!!), have a focus on ingame regiments, review the functioning of the High Command and the role of the Military Advisory Council, introducing incentives for activity on the battlefields and for presence on IRC, and emphasize on communication.

YES, it’s a lot, and I know it will take time to improve CAF, but it needs to be done. I’ll ask our soldiers, captains and officers to be active and give their best to make this happen!



Also, 5 days ago, the Romanian MoFA released an article on the eRepublik top 100 Military Units. CAF ranked 81st in the world! With the number of soldiers we have, I’m confident we can work this out and go higher in the stats


We need CAF’s manpower to be much more present and on time!
We need CAF to be more self-sufficient!
We need CAF to work well!
We need CAF’s pride to revive!
We need YOU!
