Hello,

1s Asia Song Festival is conducted by South Korea and a huge applause to them for conducting such a grant event. We hereby submit India's entry to the 1st Asia Song Festival. The song we are going to submit is none other than Maa Tujhe Salaam by A.R. Rahman.

The voting process is scheduled to be between November 16 to 18. Good luck to all the countries participating in the event. Do remember to check the contest article and vote the song you liked and the contest article will be published in the South Korean media. This song was A. R. Rahman's tribute to India in its 50th year of independence. In 2002, BBC World Service conducted an international poll to choose the ten most famous songs of all time from around 7000 songs selected from all over the world, "Maa Tujhe Salaam" was voted second. The video of the song portrays most of the cultural elements followed in India.
