Analysis: Strongest weapon (update)

Day 998, 08:50 Published in Poland Croatia by figuar_zg

Customization points gives me headaches. What is the strongest weapon on the field (sum of Attack and Defense rounds in one fight)? Because of this, I made an analysis with the aim of finding strongest weapon whatever the market price is.

Durability. The analysis is very simple. Less Customization points here and more remains to for Attack, Defense and Damage. Select Durability with the lowest values.

Damage. See formulas for hit chance and damage and you will see one interesting thing. The impact of damage is multiplied by the total value when you combine these two formulas.

Attack and Defense are added or subtracted from the bias B. This is the non-linearity and shows that the most valuable property of weapons is damage. To prove this I used mathematical analysis in MATLAB and results are shown graph in below. Anyway, select Damage with maximum value.

Attack / Defense. Here more mathematical analysis comes on the scene. I used MATLAB for simulation and reached the following results. Attack value must be high. Defense is the least important.

Let's finally look at the graphs for the two fighters with equal skill on neutral terrain and different weapons. On the graph, there are also values like ATT = 0 which is not real but it shows trend of rise and fall of each group of customization points in overall damage.

Fighter 1 (various types of weapons shown in graph, sum of customization points is 150 witch is the same as for Fighter 2), a positive part of graph gives him an advantage

Fighter 2 (ATT = 50, DEF = 50, DMG = 50), a negative part of graph gives him an advantage

From the results shown, the strongest weapon on battlefield (sum of Attack and Defense rounds in one fight) is Q5 tank with:

Damage = maximum (the most important factor)... 100 points
Attack = maximum (second most important factor)... 100 points
Defense = the least important factor... 40 points
Durability = minimum (most expensive per fight, but strongest)... 10 points

Please feel free to test this using official eRep calculator: http://www.erep.cc/tools/fight
If you find better weapon (for equal CP, skill, rank, DS..) tell the world 🙂
You can try Air unit on plain or Artillery in city. Tank 100/100/40/10 is better!!
Hit chance x damage = average hit = strength.
