An Open Letter to our Country President, Oinyo

Sir,
I wanted to address directly some of the comments you made regarding my previous article, in which I praised the resistance fighters for their glorious work in reuniting our great nation. I shall be quoting your comment directly, and addressing it point by point.

I should like to point out that my personal ego has naught to do with that of the resistance. Their heroic effort was selfless and brave.

A good way to distance yourself and your government from the actions of the rebels. You may continue to disapprove of us in the future, should you choose to treat with eSpain in a way that gains us nothing except bland assurances that they will not annihilate us.
"I am bitter at the resistance because they have shown the world we cannot be trusted and this will be brought up every time we try to make any deals in the future I am sure."
Oh-HO! Sir, here you and I fundamentally disagree. You say it shows the world we cannot be trusted. I say, we have shown the world that we will not be tread upon by arrogant bullies. Surely you realize that the eSpanish are arrogant bullies and have no respect for you or the rest of us.

Incorrect. It is not my place to recruit for the Military Dictatorship Party. Citizens seeking a military dictatorship - the natural order of existence, really - shall gravitate towards us of their own accord, as I did. And if you look at the posters I used in the article, and compare them with my Military Unit, you may see the truth. Or you may not, because it is evident that you occasionally need the very blindingly obvious pointed out to you.
In truth, I belonged formerly to the Imperial Party, which got absorbed by your Clan Wolf. I stayed there for a few days, despite all the baby-snuggling and hand-holding and romping through fields of daises that I saw going on there, because it was the party of my MU's leader, and the party of our CP. Then I saw the resistance happening, and Clan Wolf's reaction to it, and decided to leave for a party with an ideology more closely matched to my own.
But again, that article was not a campaign flyer for the Military Dictatorship Party. One would think the posters would prove that, but evidently you saw only the words and not the "message." Or the pictures.
"They took the quick and easy path for a short term goal then pushed their real agenda on the population while we do the clean up."
The real agenda was the liberation of our lands from hostile foreign occupiers. Which was achieved.

They are still occupied on a distant front. NOW IS THE TIME TO STRIKE! Why are we waiting around to accept some vague retaliation that relies solely on this enemy sticking to its dubious word? You may have something of a mind for "diplomacy" - inasmuch as one might define "diplomacy" as "rolling over for the enemy and giving into every demand they make" - but it seems you need to leave tactics to those more capable of the task.
Furthermore, many of your citizens are not content to "wait and see what happens." There are those among us who prefer a more direct and proactive approach. Kicking an enemy while his pants are down is an ancient military tradition, as old as pants themselves. There is nothing dishonorable about it - that's how wars are fought and won. Ask Sun Tzu.

This, sir, is what angers me most of all. I do not bristle at your words, but at the words of the eSpanish president, when, during the "talks," he addressed you as an indifferent master might address an errant servant - one his child adores, but which he himself does not. His answers were vague and mildly insulting. He offered you no respect.

This is how the eSpanish treated you. This is how you reacted - not with indignation and outrage at their arrogance and dismissive, entitled attitude, but with bootlicking and promises of making them a video as some kind of reward. I was outraged on your behalf, and embarrassed for our country.
If they want our land, they must come and take it, and pay for it with iron and blood, because that is what we will pay to keep it. Or they must do as the Swiss and the Dutch have done, and pay rent for the privilege of squatting on our coast.
Of course they can beat us in a full-out war. They have more people and a bigger, more violent alliance. That does not mean we should roll over and accept everything they force upon us with the threat of annihilation. No other country will ever respect us if we do.
You are an intelligent person. Surely you can see the eSpanish for the arrogant tyrants they are. Surely you respect yourself too much to allow them to bulldoze us without resistance.

I will honour no Non-Aggression Pact with these people - and on this matter, I speak for myself only, and not my Military Unit or my Party. If they occupy us again, I will rise up against them, by myself if necessary. They use the Non-Aggression Pact as a threat against us ("if you cross us, we will destroy you"), which in itself is an act of aggression. We are not their vassals, regardless of what they may think.
I said it in the last article, and I repeat it here: Better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.

It actually isn't to late to unite the country for one hell of a good war or atleast a show of unity. A leader to scared to make a move because of what if's is no leader at all.

It is a shame that our Minister of Foreign Affairs keeps deleting his comments. Of the participants in that "talk," he was the only one who seemed worthy of his position. He asked pointed questions and seemed unsatisfied with bland, vague, dismissive answers. There is hope for Dr. Manhattan yet.

I did not even know what this acronym meant until a few days ago when I saw one happen during a party election. In Clan Wolf. Another reason why I left that party. Perhaps this is why you have grown so paranoid.

Exalted Druid - People keep bringing that up. I am aware of it as something that happened long before I started here, but I fail to see how it should scare us into hiding beneath our beds like terrified children, cowering from the big, bad eSpanish boogeyman. If anything, it proves my point that these people are not to be afforded polite consideration, regardless of some bully-penned "NAP."
Play through eight months of occupation as your friends quit, your country's population drops to nothing and there is no end in sight to reassure you that you will ever be able to get your country back that you invested time, money and ideas, then see if you can still say that with honesty. Not that I'd trust a partisan windbag to either care nor understand such things. The hypocrisy only deepens when you recognize that a lot of those 'brave' rebels were the first to abandon Canada and head to the states. Knowledge of matters before you speak of them will make you look less the fool. Try it next time. I respect those that fought, those that keep fighting and those that endured. You are none of those and pretending to be in the know is an insult to the efforts of those that truly prevailed.
Foxfire - I will wear the badge of "partisan windbag" proudly, sir. As for my untested dedication to our nation's causes - gather your cabinet, pick a direction in which to take the country and aim me at it. Admittedly, I am late coming to the fight, and now have much catching up to do.
I lent what aid I could to the resistance wars - fighting as much as my supplies allowed and ending the day with zero energy and zero cash. I state openly that I was not in on the planning and claim no personal heroism. but I felt real praise and respect was due to the heroes when the deed was done, and your cabinet was offering only condemnation and scorn.
Call me a fool for attempting to get more deeply involved in the game than simply clicking on a few buttons per day if you wish. Question my motives if it pleases you and makes you feel better about things. I happily accept your scorn, sir. We do not need to agree with or like one another to work together for our country. And it is clear that we do not.
