A NRB look at; CP’s, traitors, thieves and those who actually deserve credit!
I will try to take a look, and maybe spark a debate on what might be wrong in eNorway today...
Would also like to apologize for this shabby written article, as I had to get RL-stuff ready
National activity and old-fags stepping down
As a nation, lets face it, then eNorway havn’t grown much at all during my playtime atleast.
In general, even with the extreme campaign with the UK and the latest war against Germark, then we havn’t been as active and organized as we were under the last Serb PTO.
Game-changes have come and went, whereas some (or many) havn’t been quite successful, this again ain’t exactly a boon to attract new citizen, as there used to be people in here only to make profit from trade.
Nowadays (maybe even the last year++), there is only the war-module, as the political module lives most of its greatness outside the actual game...
I do understand the old-fags and veterans of our eNation as well, it can’t be much fun trying to carry much of the day-to-day operations of eNorway as many of you have done for years.
RL life claims its own time, and doing the same old job over and over again ain’t much fun either.
There have always been complaint about the old-fags and the “closed-inner-circle”, but seriously, noone even TRIES to actively challenge them (or us with I am counted in) in an organized fashion!
Many things can also be said about the game, but we are not thriving neither population-wise nor economically, even though we did have our savings... with extra emphasis on did have!
The case of the CP of April; Bob Turkee
Now take Bob Turkee;
- Runs for CP in a period with fairly low activity
- RL Norwegian and, even though not extremly active, then he is trusted by many players
- Veteran player with former CP-experience
- However, there is a lot of cash in the national orgs and it have been there for quite a while
The CP of March, Vileskont had announced that he would not run for re-election again in April.
And in an atleast annouced candidacy and campaign, but without an active opposing candidate, then Bob was elected CP on the 5th of April.
He suddenly seems somewhat distant again after coming into office, and it doesn’t go long before other citizens notice that cash is missing from the national bank-org, which holds the national savings.
He took approximately 1million CCY from it and ironically, then the first one to mention/comment this in internal foras was Back from Valhalla (more on this later).
Bob Turkee was then impeached by congress and was replaced for the remainder of the term.
This was probably the first display of treachery, us RL norwegians inbetween, in a long, long time..
Actually, as far as I can remember, the of its kind was in the summer 2years(!?) ago...
When yours truly and Stakerauo casually tried to impeach the then CP, Endymionis...
Some RL norwegians have been known for being xenophobic and paranoid, me included, but this makes things far worse; we can’t even trust our “own kind”
So lessons to learn from this experience are;
- Do not trust ANYONE, unless you know them RL and can atleast potentially, beat the crap out of them!
- It is easy to get elected CP if you have a known name in an eNation with low population and activity.
- It is very easy to see all cash just stripped away from country-org’s with an insane CP.
* If the cash is in the national treasury, then a PTO-congress can take them...
* If the cash is in the national organization, then a rogue CP can take them...
The final question still lingers; why didn’t he just empty the national bank-organization?
We will probably never know...
But enough about this, lets move on to the next CP...
The case of his candidacy to CP and the following election-victory in May; Back from Valhalla
This person should NOT be trusted at any level!
- Again, he also runs for CP in a period with fairly low activity
- Was still a fairly young, but atleast enthusiastic player
- Had been working with the goverment since his eBirth
- There is still a lot of cash in the national orgs, and the former CP have shown how easy it is to get a hold of them
- And with the trustlevel at an all time low, then there are whispers in the halls of what might come, but still, there is no real alternative...
“Luckily” for those who whispered, they were absolutly right...
Access to the national bank was quickly achived, and he emptied the bank for all that he possibly could, then annoucing his so-called “plan”, aka “another way to mock eNorway with their own cash...”
For eNorway on the other hand, we are pretty much bankrupt.
This person should NOT be trusted at any level!
No trust and norse-xenophobia rising
As the trustlevel in our eNation now is at rock bottom, then please remember to differ the criminals from the rest.
We still struggle with the trust-issue after several PTO’s, and I really can’t say that these two “incidents” help much, to say the least.
Please do NOT forget those who are your friends, RL-norwegian or not...
For once again, as we don’t have anything to steal, we can start again if nothing else.
The so-called “pure” line have been run before, and that again doesn’t help much on recruitment.
During my time in eRepublik and eNorway, the non-RL Norwegians have mainly been loyal and serving citizens of the nation, with the exception of certain PTO-crews and a few medalhunters...

WE NEED ALL HANDS ON DECK FOR THE MOMENT, DO NOT KILL ANYONE ELSE, BUT THE CULPRITS![b/]
Still, I do think that we have ourselves to blame for the last theft, as we could have a “safer” candidate or two, but that is history now and no point in mopping over spilt milk...
I myself, due to RL life and vacation will not be back to any active duty untill June, but I will then again be at the state and people’s disposal as a worker or minister if the people wish it so!

Lads, after everything that foreigners have done to eNorway, I will understand you if you do not trust the. Or better to say us, because I am a foreigner myself. This, combined with the fact that I, as the PP of TeK, supported both these thief-CPs, leads me to the conclusion that I share some of the fault for what is happening. Therefore, if you think I can no longer be of service and that I can no longer be trusted, I will (reluctantly) leave all my political positions- resign as Congress Member, as PP and even, if you wish so, will leave the country. I am ready to take my responsibility! I hope the others do so as well!
If you are guilty, then we all are! We did all support BfV and many of us also supported Bob Turkee. I think of moving to another eCountry myself, but only if we don't get our money back! As I am a norwegian citizen in real life, I concider me as a true eNorwegian. I will support my country whatever the cost. Think I've spent 3-4k euros on this game. And more to come! The situation is somewhat a product of our own laziness.
The old-fags couldn't carry the nation forever; but even not many new at all steps up to take the lead, then the sum is where we are today.

Dont Leave West Bergen, let us rather work together to get eNorway back on its feet. Its a hard job but somebody have to do it.

Well, I guess that since we're still friends with Russia, and we're now hopefully gotten rid of these morons, I can stay and help rebuilding our nation! I won't run for CP, but I can run for congress/government. It's good to see that I have your support, even I supported BfV. I trusted him, and he let me and the whole nation down! Now is the time for us to regroup and fix our economy! Our market stands still because of high taxes and thereby high prices. Maybe we should take the discussion by mail and not forum/article...
Vileskont is a character to be trusted. There's no reason for you to feel any blame. During two months eNorway was mislead by somewhat trusted people, but you, my friend, is not amongst the mistrusted - quite the opposite.

Thanks for including me on the list! I think that there are bad people in each country. It is up to the person's qualities, so we should focus on choosing men, who are honest, hard-working, friendly, intelligent, devoted etc., and not such, coming from a specific land or party... It is always up to the person, not the nationality! I could only hope that foreigners like me would not be hated now and would not be left out of the community.
And what to say about BfV... He was obviously not the "right" type of person, dishonest, unfriendly, definitely lacking intelligence, and his devotion and hard work went in a totally wrong direction, which is a pity...
Shame on you, since you cause a people to judge on yours, due to your stupidity and infantile acts!
Easy fix to problem, access the armory or any other hit men hiring site on the onion network and order a real life hit on the fucking thieves. Then the world won't need to live side by side with them and people will think twice before stealing our money..

I know that even now I have support from many players from Norway but I am still dissapointed by some of my ex friends!! I never lost any single elections in Norway I was running for and now it looks alike it was accidentally ?? I never stole anything and now I am gold worshipers ?? Really after I had spend that much RL money I train 5 strength per day because I like money, gold and my account or because I downgrade all for Norway ?
