3rd Presidential Update

Day 1,330, 09:20 Published in Philippines USA by Aren Perry

Hello Fellow Filipino's

It's great to have our land back isn't it? I realize it's not all our land, but we are back on the map to pre-month levels in a short few days like we always are after these events.

Obviously, the most important update is that in it of itself. That we are back on the map and fully functioning quickly. Also that our esteemed citizens Berritas and Sigurd Aasen both have shiny new RW Hero medals. Congrats to both!

Military Updates

-Elari has accepted command over the Rangers, relieving Smily of his older duties and freeing him to be a better MoD.

-Quite obviously, our military worked well and smoothly during our RW's, and I want to congradulate our military for being on the lookout and aware of what is going on.

-I want to thank Uniqueloo for being on the ball while Smily132 was away for the weekend and also for helping bring in some tanks that brought enough damage to overcome earlier resistance that we faced from mis-informed Indonesians.

-In terms of 'renovations' not much has gone on since last update. We've been busy doing not creating for awhile here. If you want to join the military, just contact Smily132!

Domestic Updates

First Note-Once again, Elari takes the first note in this section with the New Player article that is majorly awesome.

Throughout the month, this will be linked to other tutorial articles focusing on different aspects of the game as well. Thus, I hope to soon edit our welcome message to include the link to the first of these articles as the starting point for new players to learn about the game.

2nd Note-We also have ratified and passed through a new welcome message. The last we had was very sharp and useful. However, the coding that it relied on had gone funky and it didn't appear right in new players inboxes. Thus, we have been working on one since last month to put it through.

Now, the honest truth of the matter is that I did not realize that there is a 1500 character limit for welcome messages. Thus, the ratified message had to be shortened significantly and isn't good looking. Also I have been told that the Filipino version is full of grammar mistakes. It's better than a bunch of unreadable code, however, which is what was there before as our welcome message.

To this end, I intend to rewrite with congress a new welcome message with the character limit in mind and also an attempt to ensure that proper Filipino verbage and grammar are used.

Third Note-Three things quickly. I expect MoM (eg, Coco The Killa) to be soon putting up an article that includes that free raffle I have been talking about. He was away for a little while, but should be getting that up soon.

Congress is debating and, I believe, soon ratifying the 5 gold and 1000 PHP loan process. Anyone who wants to sign up for a interest free loan here. As soon as the loan's are ratified, Ariel David will begin reviewing applicants!

In Congress two tax bills were created and passed that changed our taxes I think for the better. You can see the details of these bills on the forum and also on the country administration page.

International News

Just one note here: Luna allies are currently helping India with their war with Pakistan. Soon we will be considering doing the same if the need is still there for assistance.
