War Report
Alexander_Auctoritas, dSoM

Greetings all you lovely people out there in erepublik-land.

I don't know about you, but that map looks odd. What is that color up north? I remember a similar color when Albania was there, but his one is new... Apparently, six days ago Serbia conducted a successfully airstrike on Albania in Canada. Why would they do that? Looking at Albania's Society page, we see the answer, zero regions. Ok, well, I guess Serbia will follow wherever you go now. IIRC, Serbia kicked Croatia out of India a couple of months ago, as well.

Speaking of India, look at that hot mess. It's looks like the perfect summer home for the country that needs to get away from it all. We've got Croatia, Republic of Macedonia, Bulgaria, with a little side of India. When did this become the thing to do? I thought the Middle East was a haven for summer-goers? Well, anyway, it's only a matter of time until someone comes back to kick all these countries back out. We shall see when, how, and who takes on this task. In other news, Pakistan declared war on Bulgaria. The first battle is not going in Pakistan's favor, so we will see where this goes, but the MPP stacks say its going to be a loss. Perhaps, it was just a training war. Have fun in either case.

Elsewhere in Europe, we see Iran and Turkey playing with each other again. This latest engagement is now ten battles into the war. Iran won the first couple, then Turkey won a couple, then Iran won and is now winning handily in Eastern Anatolia. We'll see where this goes. I do not recall is Turkey was wiped during the last super-happy-fun-times, and it doesn't matter at all. We'll probably see this go back and forth for a while, with perhaps someone getting wiped in the end. Enjoy the fun, Turkey and Iran.

Have fun eMerica, and keep shaking that ASS.

Interview with PAUL PROTEUS from Federalist Party
Siaan Kaan, dSoM

First tasks are always the hardest. You don’t know what to do or how, thinking about everything and nothing. So, for start, I thought to do an interview with presidents of our 5 biggest parties and I have invited Paul Proteus from Federalist Party to join me in some Q and A. He was great to answer some questions for this green “journalist” and I thank you so much this

SK: First question is always the same, could you introduce Paul to us?
PP: Uh I've been playing a while, first in eSwitzerland then the eUS, the Libs then the Feds, I used to care a lot more than I do. If you don't know me then there's not much to say.
SK: Well, my fault, with less than month old, don’t know a lot of people.

SK: I see you are long time in eRep, how do you look on past years?
PP: Primarily as a waste of time, it's not like my 5 years in eRepublik have produced any worthwhile accomplishments, unless being a bad eUS President is a good résumé item. I've met some cool people, most of them have quit, they're smarter than me.

SK: And FP, tell us about your party, your position, stands, goals?
PP: The Federalist Party is basically the best party in the game right now, we're an incredibly solid party of great people, and our activity continues to pleasantly surprise me. Regardless of party you should check out our forum:http://fedparty.forumotion.com/ All sorts of good things are happening. Currently I have the honor of being PP, although we're electing a new one soon. As for our positions we're not incredibly dogmatic, we're moderates, intelligent, and seriously believe country>party>self in a way that very few parties left do. Check us out~

SK: Biggest party in eUS, simply, HOW? What makes you being recognized among eUS eCitizens?
PP: Eh, actual party numbers isn't super indicative of recent efforts, we got into this position around 2 years ago, and I imagine it helps that new members join the largest party more often than not. I'm more impressed by our current upsurge in activity which is only a few months old, we have a great retention team.

SK: In your opinion, eUS has 10 parties, do you think that number is to big? Does it drain on a productiveness of political scene in the eUS?
PP: I mean game mechanics dictate that only 5 parties really have an effect on the political process. I think it's ideal to have 5 healthy parties but given the player pool left we're seeing a lot of those parties reduced somewhat to shells, which I find unfortunate.

SK: Based that you are biggest party in eUS, did you expect more members in a congress?
PP: Compared to the last few months, this congressional election was phenomenal. We have a serious plurality, more than we've really had in the recent past, and it's evident that was can dictate a lot of the conversation. I'm pleased as punch.

SK: With biggest number of congressman, how do you feel this impact political scene of eUS?
PP: I feel what we all know, the Feds really have the strongest voice in Congress, and I'm thrilled to work with out other allies in Congress, but it's really evident in how much better run this Congressional mandate has been then the past few imo, that when our mandate is used responsibly, shit works out well.

SK: 24 mandates as a congressman, what did you learn over the time as a congress member?
PP: I learned not much happens in Congress, god that's a lot of terms.

SK: With three country presidencies, aspirations for more?
PP: God no.

SK: Country presidency, job most wanted. But what does it mean? Responsibility? Sleepless nights?
PP: It means putting way too much time and stress into a game, I personally don't recommend it, but if you're into it, go for it.

SK: Any advice for our new president?
PP: Don't screw it up. Orik's great, he doesn't need my advice to do well.

SK: Plans for future? What does next month bring?
PP: Hopefully our next PP let's me do something for the Party, but mostly stepping back. I'm not leaving Congress or SCI, but every month I whole heartedly believe in a change of leadership.

SK: As a eCitizen of eUS, how did high work taxes affect you?
PP: They don't personally affect me except how they affect the strength of the eUS.

SK: Your thought about the future of a work tax?
PP: We need to replenish our reserve, the way we play as a country is expensive, which is fine, but we have to pay for it. After that I'm less interested.

Well, I think we will conclude our talk here, as they say, always leave them wanting more. Once more, big thanks to Paul, for his patience.

Start Me Up
James Schubert, SoM

This is my first WHPR as Secretary of Media. We got an excellent team comprised of old and new members. A few of those new faces like Siaan Kaan that has been tasked in doing interviews for the WHPR and RegisPhilbin will begin a contest with EUSA Edition of “Who Wants To Be a Millioniare?”. Some old and familiar faces like Franklin Stone, Joey3790, and Alexander_Auctoritas are part of the team. I expect a great month with my media team to do some fantastic articles. The party is just getting started and looking forward what articles they will do for future WHPRs this month.
