[VP] [Congress] Motion to Simplify the Law - Part 1

Greetings all,
As you may or may not be aware, we have alot of law, almost too much, and alot of it has fallen out of date.
I would like to call motions to have the following acts dissolve
😛
1) MU Building Act
-Financial times are tough, and spending is ludicrous. Let's keep our budget focused on getting everybody their supplies and lets let them decide if they would like to refocus those supplies into expanding their MUs self-sufficiency.
2) eCanadian Mentor Program Act
-This should be being taken care of by:
Professional mentors under eRepublik, First Steps articles, MUs, Political parties.
It's a vestige, let's get rid of it.
3) The eCanadian Civil and Criminal Reform Act
-This Act exists purely to announce the repealing of other acts...it does not add to the conversation of the current legal framework and should thus be shelved in the archives with the other two.
4) The Ambassador Corps Act
-This act promotes emigration of Canadian citizens. There are easier ways to get involved with other nations than to decrease our population. We only retain about 1 in 10 new citizens, and from what I can gather, most of those are still multis. Let's hold onto as many real Canadians as we can and let Foreign Affairs Ministers handle the discussions with other peoples.
There are other changes I intend to propose in the days to come, but I figured a great place to start would be to gauge how Congress feels about cleaning up the legal system in general.
Sincerely yours,
Tyrael Snow

Forum post relay:
The most basic laws we now require are:
Charter
CRoO
MU Funding Act
Comptroller Act
The rest can be removed or made into something other (as in the case of the Criminal Reform Act ~ make it a clause in the Charter, if possible).
Before gutting the law repository, it is important to make sure that there are no gaps left in its wake. The Charter and related Acts often contain references to other Acts. It is important to remove/modify these references as part of the changes.
I support these changes. Many of the clauses in the Ambassador Corps Act and Mentor Act about submitting monthly reports and maintaining certain levels of activty are simply no longer even considered.

+1 to "The Ambassador Corps Act
-This act promotes emigration of Canadian citizens"
""The Ambassador Corps Act - This act promotes emigration of Canadian citizens""
That claim as absolute BS. Anyone who actually reads the AC Act will see that nowhere does it say anything about leaving eCanada. It even goes so far as to say that an Ambassador can be assigned to multiple countries (which btw, would be impossible if we required people to gain a new citizenship.)
Maybe check your facts next time.
Wally Cleaver, you are a fool if you are saying that our Ambassadors never switched citizenships before, most of them did!
Also, How about you quit being belligerent and grow your own opinion: You supported Rolo and Rylde while they were doing the exact same thing.
Calling another congress person's work BS is plain rude and I hope you learn to act with some decorum, or at the very least with a backbone of your own instead of only supporting motions offered by your Coalition bros.
I personally would hope that Ambassadors would keep their citizenship.
If the Ambassadors aren't willing to leave and set up shop, then they shouldn't be Ambassadors.
