So there I was, clicking my buttons, as usual, when suddenly I was done. Out of energy and ready to go on with my day... Only something was wrong.

Normally I two click around for longer and do more damage and get more prestige points.
Thinking it must have been my imagination (or the remnants of the beer the night before), I carried on with my day.

Today (day 2581) I notice I have a message in my inbox, so I add a click to my day.
Yes, there is a message (self serving of someone trying to clamber into CP or something), but also a notice indicating that I will be consuming double my usual usage.
AH! That explains it then.

Had I known that for the past two days I used twice as much food and weapons I probably would have changed my tactic.

Double my consumption? I'll halve my clicks!

It's too late. I've already two clicked my day... and I'll likely two click tomorrow.
