[TUP] Plans for the month + Turnbull does the Rudd

Thanks to all party members for electing me TUP leader!

MUAHAHAHAHA

Now, let's get to business. As I stated in my campaign article, I want to make TUP an active party which truly represents its members. And now, it's my task to make it happen.

My objectives for the following month will be raising activity and turnout at elections.

Activity, as I said, is one of the most important things a party needs to have to be recognised and electable. That is why I've divided various interest areas of the party to our party members so we can have an open and honest discussion about our parties' present and its future. We will, for example, have TUP's Parliament leader to deal with issues concerning laws as well as helping and mentoring MPs. We will also have a Members' spokesperson. That post will be occupied with helping new members but also connnecting ordinary party members to the work the party is doing and helping to answer any questions they may have. I'll assign some other posts in the near future.

Turnout is a very big problem for the party as, for example, only 27 members voted in the PP election. Our membership is 80, so the turnout figure is staggeringly low and needs to be dealt with. We need to connect with and revive the interest in politics in our membership. The only way to do that will be to tell them that we are their party, that we want to help them and that we want to adress their concerns while, of course, building a better country for all. I have assigned a few posts, including the ones I mentioned earlier, to re-engage members in the party's work. We will have a person who will be regularly informing our members on on the party's work with regular chats and PMs and engaging them in party actions that I'm planning - competitions, donations and other shenanigans.

All these things will, I hope, help kickstart activity within the party and show that TUP is a valuable party of the UK community. I will lead a transparent party - every member will know of all decisions and will be specially informed. I also encourage all members to write their questions, suggestions or issues they might have on the Party Feed or to contact me. Any advice and constructive criticism is very welcome.

There you go. Hopefully this month we take a step forward and make TUP a true alternative for a better country.
