[TTH] Stone for Congress

[DISCLAIMER]
Before we begin I wish to state here and now that I DO NOT speak for Easy Company Militia, nor do I speak for the majority of the We The People Leadership; but what both these communities have in common is the freedom for citizens to express themselves. I speak only as a 'pop gun' America Soldier of no consequence, I speak only as an insignificant but loyal American; I speak only as an American who believes in America First.
These are the subjects being discussed in Public Congressional Proceedings, I'll let you decide if they are worthy topics for such serious business as Congress; however it seems that they are so bored they are making a common Stapler the 'Official Congressional Mascot' -which broke Congressional Procedure by not having a discussion first. You would have thought since this is the American Congress, that the Eagle would have been at the very least discussed.
[Discussion] Crown Derphoof King of Spain
[Proposal] The almighty Stapler as Official Congressional Mascot
[Vote] The almighty Stapler as Official Congressional Mascot
[Discussion] Declaration of DMJ's Baby as Official Congressional Mascot
[Proposal] DMJ's Baby as Official Congressional Mascot
[Kongress] Weekly Report of Kongressional Activity to Congress
Now I suppose these are topics which need the attention of Congress, although if I were in Congress believe what I would bring up is the 'Applaud/Smite' system; a system that the home of Easy Company Militia -Screamin' Eagle Forums- had the good sense to ban . My first objection is to the word 'smite'. Why smite? Why not: denounce, disapprove, discourage or maybe dissuade? Second would be the fact that it breeds paranoia and hatred, as you watch you Karma rise or descend depending on what someone's mood is that day; knowing it's the FN dude I don't like -I just know it's them.
BUFFALO BISCUITS!
In the thread Who needs Jerk Offs in Congress? as a citizen dedicated to service, I offered to assist a fellow citizen contemplating ending his own life to obtain a method of reaching that state of being; no where do I state I would be the one performing the procedure. Sometime later in the thread Franklin Stone and Assisted Suicide Vol II., in which I again offer my services in assisting a fellow citizen in obtaining a method of becoming a Martyr and deliver it forthwith; for offering to assist two citizens contemplating reaching nirvana I was banned for 7 days.
OUCH!
Where am I going with this you ask? The 'Applaud/Smite' system. All of this started when a fellow citizen announced he wanted to be the first 'Smite Martyr' and his fellow citizens began sending him to nirvana; dude freaked out! Suddenly the forum ran into some problems with a 'migration to a new server' and those threads and smites were gone. Now it was later claimed someone had written a script to smite him hourly, which I know is a load of duck donuts; don't ask for something and get all hysterical when you receive your hearts desire. Now a discussion on getting rid of a system which breeds paranoia and hatred using such an inflammatory term as 'smite' to me is worthy of Congress' attention.
America needs Congress Members who do not jump to conclusions and become hysterical. Congress Members who when they ask for something, don't go totally ballistic when their fellow Congress Members deliver it to them. America needs Congress Members who can discuss -even argue about- issues without resorting to belittlement, name calling and racial accusations -IMO you bring up race in any manner and YOU are the racist.
My name is Franklin Stone and I am running for Congress.

The stapler proposal and vote rose from the thread about using my baby as a mascot. At least read first before you make statements about shit.
You know that Congress doesn't have any influence over the forum administration, right? We can pass laws all day to remove the applaud/smite and it won't mean shit. Ignoring the fact that your tin foil hat is on crooked if you honestly think that the forum down time was caused by Kemal getting too many smites, you must be joking if you think this is something Congress should or even could do anything about.
Trying to say that your insensitive statements about suicide or death in general are just fine because you never said you were going to be the one to do it is just silly. Man up, admit you were offensive, and move on.
"America needs Congress Members who do not jump to conclusions and become hysterical." That's rather laughable when you consider how often you jump to conclusions.
Sometimes I wonder if your shenanigans are all an act or if you're really this dumb.
How insensitive is it to announce to the world at large that you plan to off yourself? Are you doing it to make the world feel sorry for you or simply to draw attention to yourself? If you are so insensitive as to tell me you're planning to commit suicide, then I am just insensitive enough to help you get it done.
Joking around about committing suicide -as one citizen did- is the most insensitive thing you can do around someone who suffers from depression, yet you see absolutely nothing wrong with him stating he was contemplating suicide.
It is completely insensitive to declare your desire to be a 'Martyr' in a world where most equate a 'martyr' with 'suicide bombers' who kill innocent civilians, yet you saw nothing wrong with someone announcing they wish to be the first 'Smite Martyr'.
That's the thing out of my entire comment that you reply about?
Ok. So a person who might actually be struggling with idealizations of suicide is being insensitive when they reach out in a way that you think is wrong. Got it.
Obviously you've never been affected by suicide, and I hope you never are. Until then, shut your effing mouth.
Shows how much you know.
Six months after my return from the service, my neighbor who had also served; went out on his back porch and blew his brains out. Not once had he suggested he might do such a thing.
My cousin after serving in Afghanistan and a year of psychiatric help, blew his brains out in the parking lot of the VA hospital, not once did he voice that he had suicidal thoughts.
I have another friend who announced once or twice a month for more years than I care to remember that she wanted to kill herself, I finally had had enough and offered her a gun and she never said it again.
That is when I learned that those who truly want to kill themselves do it, they don't go around saying, 'Oh, I think I'll kill myself.' I have no sympathy for someone who claims to be suicidal and announces it to the world.
You shouldn't pretend to know everything about those situations. I'm amazed you take it so lightly. It's a tad disgusting.
Yet you pretend to know how I took each of those situations.
You're right I didn't and still don't understand why someone would kill themselves. My neighbor and cousin left family behind who I am pretty sure don't understand it either. I saw what those suicides did to their families, so forgive if I dislike people who 'pretend' they are suicidal or who 'glorify' martyrdom by wanting to be one.
Martyrdom does not necessitate death. Oppression is an equivalent part of the definition. Assuming that they were joking though, is another story.
Goddamn
