[SNA] A new era

Hello folks!

Weeks ago I was surprised with a request of a friend to become commander of the Swiss National Army. Honestly I had no idea what was coming! I was coming off a Brazilian military unit where I was a simple member to become commander of a national MU.

My first impressions were of a dead MU, no one talked or much less inquired about changes in the command of the military unit. But soon these impressions were changing, I met my new teammates and saw in each of these members an optimistic sense of change. I was well received and currently we all interact very well, we don't have any problems.

Today, in front of this military unit that has earned my respect for active members who believe in a better future, I can say that I am in the right place with the right people doing the right thing. Thank you to all members of the SNA for the respect and optimism that had for me.

Anyway, let's go to some updates in our MU!

We have a chatroom in eRepublik!

Yes, a chat room! I believe this is new to many people and few military units have this benefit. We received this chat due to a contact that I conducted with the administration of eRepublik requiring chat due to its importance for us. Below you can check the conversation.

Supplies

I started the discussion of the new SNA supplies today with Rican and soon we will start discussions with the government. Probably by the end of next week we will release an official statement about the project and we will start the construction of the communes!

Today the Global MU-IGM (In game message) was created involving all members of all the regiments that have me in your friends list. I hope you make good use of this IGM, as well as chat, which has similar functions.

New uniform

I am proposing a new uniform for the SNA, this uniform does not allow you to set your avatar. You might be wondering how this is annoying and takes away your freedom, and you 're right. But this new standard allows international community to easily identify the Swiss soldier on the battlefield. This is extremely important for diplomacy because our allies will realize that we are there helping them (because the big Swiss flag on the uniform) and probably will return to help. The uniform that I propose has huge Swiss coat of arms and everybody can use it without asking anyone, and even easier to the new players use. But everything will be done democratically, you should vote between the current and the new uniform.

Good job lucas as always for avatar and uniform i'm voted for current avatar not because the new is bad but it because for current avatar we still hard to make our members use it..

If we change again it mean we must ask them change to new avatar and it will hard..
And uniform is like a tittle, we can change it if it old but i think that avatar is not that old (still 1-3 months) CMIIW..

But i appreciate your work for this..

About the uniform, Its better change now than keep trying to make them ask for the current one. The new is just save on pc and put it. More easy as stated above and will help us with our allies.

Indeed it could help us with our allies but as i said before the uniform is a tittle for our MU and the current avatar can help us too to let our ally know that we are fight for them as what my "friend in pact" (bearcat7) said the current uniform make us have our own identities through our images and for that we still can let our allies and friend know we fight for them..

(Maybe we could still use this uniform and modified it like adding a swiss flag ball.. or etc..)

But overall your job is awsome as always

well some country can use 2 of that in same time, why cant we do that ?? I prefer the national identity too, but for now just modified our avatar is the best way.. not change it to the new one.. because this is not too old (1-3 months) CMIIW..

I'm not saying that, its good and suit but the old uniform is still not too old to change it.. LucasFTM are good at design, thats why i said if the new uniform win i will change it immediately to that new avatar without a complain..

I just said that we can do it both (show national identitiy and our own identity on same time)..

Excellent read and I am very happy that our MU is very active, I know we are in good hands. I vote for the current uniform, because I think having our own identities through our images lets us have more of a personality and expression. o7
