[RG4CP] Progress.
Rathena Gelc
It's almost been a month since my inauguration.
It's been a month of hard work, dedication and strength. There has been frustration, but there's also been positivity. I'd like to thank everyone in the government for their hard work and dedication!
Over the last month, we've achieved good things for the UK. In my manifesto, I laid out a concrete plan for stability and strength for our country. I think we've fulfilled many of my manifesto pledges.
We've negotiated with France.
We've had a public referendum on the renting agreement with them.
We've started the Ambassadros Programme.
We've had PMQs every week.
We've activated Congress.
We've stepped up efforts for a better foreign policy.
We've strengthened Britain's international position.
We've campaigned hard for a resounding liberation plan.
We've been transparent, open and ready to listen to every opinion.
Have we done everything we've set out to do? No. But overall, I think the government has led a fairly good month. When I first ran for President, I said I wanted to lead an open and transparent government. We've done exactly that, informing you of our activity and plans. We've been there for every person, we've held discussions and debates. We've increased communication with fighters and MUs.
There have also been frustrations, like the inability to liberate our country. Unfortunately, that is part of a bigger problem facing anti-Asteria countries - disunity and weakness. We've pushed hard for Britain to be put as top priority for our allies - and it has - but there are more steps to be taken. We need more coordination, a more active PLUTO, countries communicating and engaging with MUs. Working together to liberate Britain and other nations in need. That's why I've been pushing for unity of anti-Asteria countries.
There is more to be done, of course. As in life, many things cannot be achieved over the course of a month. But I think we've laid out the foundation for a better, more stable foreign policy and a more active country.
So, I'd like to announce that I'm running for a second term as President! The work my government's been doing has achieved good stuff, in my opinion. I can promise you continuity of our hard work. It may seem we've not been doing much from time to time, but we're really fighting tooth and nail behind the scenes to improve stuff, especially regarding our international situation. I can promise you an active, transparent and open government. Good communication with MUs, reaching out to fighters, contacting more countries. Increasing efforts for liberation. My message this time is 'Progress' because we've done good progress toward a better country - and there's more to do.
I hope as many parties as possible will nominate me as their candidate and we'll continue working hard for Britain. I'll be releasing my full manifesto and cabinet soon. Thanks all!

Good luck

Thank you!
A certain improvement on last term; but will wait to see who else is runnin' though - with respect I'd like someone more entertaining in number 10 😛
Thanks.
Yes, I get that a lot. But banter ain't gonna get us liberated.
perhaps not directly but banter and morale go a long way
not with that attitude
That's a silly argument, if you want entertainment in number 10 - vote BigAnt
it's a silly game! and highbrow entertainment... that rules BA and his ilk out 😛
Goodluck
Thanks!
Gracias por todo Rathena, nice job!.
>We've negotiated with France.
great accomplishment m8
Sambo, are you reading this?
It disgusts me
more boobs
You've done okay. Certainly co-ordination, enthusiasm and communication with congress and the public has been better.
I still think that if you had truly believed in the deal you negotiated with the french would improve our ability to free ourselves in the long run (which it so clearly would have), then you should have had the gumption not to allow the goons who just shouted 'f*ck france' and 'NO SURRENDER' a chance to decide whether the eUK took the deal.
Also not a great fan of the overtures being made towards asteria governments, but there you go.
I like Apples am keen to see who else is running + more detailed manifestos
Psssst! The referendum is over, your side lost, time to move on
Never should have happened in the first place. Referendum's are a terrible way of running a country
all elections are technically referenda 😛
Apples gets my vote for the first correct pluralisation of "referendum" I've seen in months.
-Referendum's are undemocratic
-Don't listen to congress
Make up your mind...
wot u chatting about, I'm entirely in favour of listening to Congress.
Your confusing your nifty members Rory fam
Calling a referendum is undemocratic, and somehow undermines congress, yet you wanted the CP to ignore congress/everyone and sign a peace deal with the French.
You should make up your mind on what you consider undemocratic.
"CP to ignore congress/everyone and sign a peace deal with the French."
Er, no I didn't? Where did I say that?
You did write this didn't you?
"I still think that if you had truly believed in the deal you negotiated with the french would improve our ability to free ourselves in the long run (which it so clearly would have), then you should have had the gumption not to allow the goons who just shouted 'f*ck france' and 'NO SURRENDER' a chance to decide whether the eUK took the deal."
"then you should have had the gumption not to allow the goons who just shouted 'f*ck france' and 'NO SURRENDER' a chance to decide whether the eUK took the deal."
i.e she shouldn't have held a referendum...
You should have just wrote that then if that's what you actually wanted to say xD
"We need more coordination, a more active PLUTO," - Also does this mean you are committing to PLUTO being a viable alliance going forwards? I know from talking to you last month that you wanted to ascertain whether it was useful or not
"We've activated Congress"
Nice to see some comedy inserted into a serious article
Also, this is the most politician-like CP article I have ever read
"We've strengthened Britain's international position."
I genuinely haven't been paying an interest in the game other than ESO so we could have been liberated and I wouldn't have know. (I'll check after to see if we have been 😕 ) But in all seriousness, how is eUK in a better position than when it was when you became CP?
As far as i'm concerned we still have the same allies and are in the same alliance as we were before.
It's in a better position because we've managed to get Britain's liberation at the top of PLUTO's agenda. It's a priority. Also, we've been in contact with more countries and anti-Asteria countries overall have been having better relations, making our position more stable.
If you think that's not enough, you're absolutely right! Our ultimate goal is liberation. 🙂
Congress activated

Good luck Rathena 2nd term 🙂
Yours has been a good stabilising CP, for which you deserve to be congratulated (especially as it's your first ever term).
But you can't do the same thing again. If you want a second term, you'll need a clear plan that provides clear, demonstrable progress.
Oh, and more lulz. Definitely more lulz.
Christ Mike I keep agreeing with you.
I know. Who are you and what have you done with the real Addaway?
Good luck Rathena o7
Best of luck! o7
A good term of office under extremely difficult conditions.
Well done!
Voted and endorsed.
