The Western Bank is an org I set up in 2009 with some friends from eUSA, back when contracts were still around. The bank, at its height, held hundreds of gold worth of deposits and investments before the admins decided to get rid of contracts. I have decided to relaunch it!

This is aimed at those who wish to role-play the economic module a little more.

There are a number of options for those looking to get involved. We offer investments, loans and savings. Investments and savings are guaranteed by my very own assets, so there's no risk of losing! Services

Investments

Investments are currently limited, as I'm only 'issuing' 50% of the bank for sale. I've dedicated £20,000 towards this now which I'll increase soon. This is used merely to get a base value for issuing shares.

Shares are worth £10 each, and are recorded on a spreadsheet which can be found on the site linked to above and below!

This means that in a months time, I hope to have at least increased share value by 50%, which represents a 50% return on whatever you may invest. Dividends are to be decided closer to the end of each week. Current rate for this week is at 5%.

There are currently 1,000 shares outstanding, at £10 each. Message me if interested!

If you ever wish to re-sell a share, I will buy them at their value at the time of selling.

Savings

There are various savings options available.

-Current Account: Deposit money for a rate of 5% per week. A good way to grow spare capital in a short amount of time! You can withdraw and deposit money whenever you wish.
-Saver Bon😛 Deposit either £100, £1,000 or £3,000 for a fixed term. (currently one week) At the end of the that term, you'll receive your deposit back plus the 10% interest earned. For example, depositing £1,000 will result in a return of £1,100 within a week.

If you have a project you think can make a return but require capital, you can contact us and we may be willing to invest.

Loans

Loans can also be obtained. They come in two types: Personal Loan and Corporate Loan.

Personal Loan: From £0 - £1,000, repaid between a week and 8 weeks, typical rates around 13% (though this is dependant on the circumstances)
Corporate Loan: £1,000+, these are used to fund projects for which you know you'll be able to make a return within a fixed period. Rates vary from 10% to 15%.

Information

Financial statements will be released regularly, if you wish to view those, make sure to subscribe or you might miss them!

Dividends will be paid to shareholders every Friday, at the current rate of 5% profit.

Interest will be paid in to current accounts every 7 days. Bonds will be returned, plus interest, every 7 days.
