Hello Norway!

Another article from your President, this time I am writing to inform everyone in Norway of the upcoming event called “Epic Warfare” This tournament will be an exiting and very beneficial opportunity for our country, so It’s important that you read this article to get an idea of what I am talking about, we have the chance to win some nice rewards, not just on an individual level but also for Norway!






Standard Prestige points

The tournament is going to begin in two days from now on Day 2,527 at 0:00 Erepublik Time, it runs for a total of 7 days. The main idea and goal is to win as many Prestige points as you can, on an individual level this leads to prizes such as extra strength, damage boosters, increased energy recovery, and a stash of energy bars, anything to help you keep fighting. There will also be decorations awarded for the top fighters in the country, more info on that can be read on the missions page. For our country, it means winning a defense shield and gold for our treasury. Let’s take a look at what you can do to win Prestige points:

* For every hit done in a battle [Q1-7 Weapon], you get 1 Prestige Point
* For every bazooka hit, player gets 1 Prestige Point
* Guerrilla fights WILL NOT contribute to Prestige points
* Using Rockets, Big and Small bombs gives you 1 Prestige Point per bomb dropped
* Getting into the Top five in a round during a battle will earn you bonus Prestige depending on your position:

- 1st place: 100% extra Prestige Points for every hit he has done in that battle
- 2nd place: 80% extra Prestige Points for every hit he has done in that battle
- 3rd place: 60% extra Prestige Points for every hit he has done in that battle
- 4th place: 40% extra Prestige Points for every hit he has done in that battle
- 5th place: 20% extra Prestige Points for every hit he has done in that battle

So in this case, even though Rockets, Big and Small bombs don’t give you much Prestige (only 1 per bomb dropped) using the damage that they offer will help you shoot your way into the top 5 on the damage board for a round, so try to aim for getting a BH or at least into the Top 5! That way you earn more Prestige points!



Epic Battles and Prestige Points

During the “Epic Warfare” tournament there will also be what will be referred to as Epic battles, Aside from the standard battles that take place, these battles will offer additional bonus Prestige Points! A battle becomes Epic when:

- more than 150 000 000 damage dealt in that battle for Division 1
- more than 1 500 000 000 damage dealt in that battle for Division 2
- more than 4 500 000 000 damage dealt in that battle for Division 3
- more than 10 000 000 000 damage dealt in that battle for Division 4

In this case let’s take a look at what happens:

* Bonus Prestige Points only awarded after Standard Battle becomes Epic!!
* For every hit after the battle becomes EPIC [Q1-7 Weapon], the player gets 3 Prestige Points
* For every hit by a bazooka, player gets 3 Prestige Points
* Guerilla Fights still don’t count for Prestige Points.
* Using Rockets, Big and Small Bombs gives you 3 Prestige Points per bomb dropped.
* Bonuses for Top 5 players also applies to Epic Battles.

It will be very important to watch for when a battle becomes EPIC, that is when to fight as it will award you with additional bonus Prestige Points!! Fighting in any other battles that are not Epic will reward you only with Standard Points!



Norway’s Country Ranking

During this tournament, countries will be ranked based on the average amount of Prestige Points per active fighters of that country, that means a citizen with even 1 Prestige Point during the tournament will count towards Norway’s average, Because of this We ask that our not so active fighters not to hit during this tournament as it will bring Norway’s average down! Please note though accounts made 24 hours before or during the tournament do not count towards this.



Possible Rewards for Norway

When the tournament has ended, Norway has the possibility of winning some good rewards, if our Prestige Points per active fighters in our country stays high, we will have a much higher ranking between our other competing countries! This tournament is important, we can win a strong defense shield and gold that will help fund our treasury for programs and MPP’s with other nations. The Rewards are:

- Positions 1-10 - Quality 7 Defence Shield + 5 000 Gold
- Positions 11-20 - Quality 6 Defence Shield + 3 000 Gold
- Positions 21-30 - Quality 5 Defence Shield + 2 500 Gold
- Positions 31-40 - Quality 4 Defence Shield + 2 000 Gold
- Positions 41-50 - Quality 3 Defence Shield + 1 500 Gold
- Positions 51-60 - Quality 2 Defence Shield + 1 000 Gold
- Positions 61-70 - Quality 1 Defence Shield + 500 Gold

Defence Shield capacity:

- Quality 7: 10 billion damage
- Quality 6: 8 billion damage
- Quality 5: 6 billion damage
- Quality 4: 4 billion damage
- Quality 3: 3 billion damage
- Quality 2: 2 billion damage
- Quality 1: 1 billion damage

So what is The Government of Norway asking? We ask that players that fight very rarely not to fight during this tournament as it will bring the national average down, we want to try to get as high up on the country rankings as possible to try to get a strong defense shield and extra gold for our treasury. Of course players should try to get themselves some nice rewards as well and commit as much damage as possible for our country and Allies!
